Smash Commentary has to Improve

I might be a bit biased, but we had no (direct) game audio recorded at this week's no johns, and our commentary group (DJ/Hazz/D1/HBK/Swift/PB&J/Project/Chops/myself) really performed well. Hopefully I'll be able to put up some samples.

D1 has some beast commentary. He's very informative like Wife but he can also get you hyped like Waffles. He also has a really pleasing voice. Get D1 to commentate at nationals.

Swift I'd say is hella beast at being informative as well. He's definitely my favorite commentary partner to date. I also love commentating w/ DJ, Prog, and Hazz on the EC. DJ can be legit if he doesn't go on a tangent.

This is garbage.

It probably is. I didn't watch it or remember what I said, but I never thought my commentary was that great. I did it at SMYM, thought nothing of it, then everyone was like omfg this is so good blarghrabble.

I think I'd do a better job with someone keeping me on track. I was mad tired and hungry when I did it, which led to me talking nonsense.

I'll try and do better next time.

I need to do commentary with like BigD or someone so that they keep me talking about the match and Melee in general.

me and choknater had our turn at commentating yesterday. while pools were starting at good **** german, brandon and phil were playing pools matches and left their laptop open. me and choknater went up to talk to the people on the livestream and grand finals people sat down to start, and when no one was there to commentate we took on the job. its probably really bad but oh well, it was fun.
