Did you see what the controller can do? While making me nervous for Smash Bros, I'm still hyped

I really don't care right now. I'll buy it, but not because they've impressed me.

I entered E3 with absolutely no expectations, so they by no means didn't meet them. Nintendo just embarrassed me, like when your parents tell your friends stories of your childhood.

The controller has thumbpads instead of analog sticks. Also, I hear sakurai is in charge again. This won't be good.

Relax, Nitewing. Falcon hates everything.

But I do think that Nintendo did a horrible job at explaining the Wii U. I had to go to IGN before I realized that it went to an actual console and wasn't just a controller.

You most likely (haven't seen console's back)can't use GC controller unfortunately

Fortunately, I'm open to the change

Or if you throw it at your TV? Worse yet, if you throw the TV at the controller?!?!

...

Well, don't drop it. >_> Besides, a DS can withstand dropping.

I hope I can use my GC controller :/

edit:

I don't mind mind change but I don't want a 32958320948 dollar tablet for a controller when I play smash, and I want an analog stick

This. I really don't even want to have to use the tablet a lot, unless it's called for things like starting the game up.

Classic Controller Pro is IMO a very good alternative for a GC Controller and the WiiU supports it. We see what time will bring.

Why the Sakurai hate? he's the one that did 64 and Melee, so I still have some faith.

And i quit using the GC controller and switched to the CCP, so im ok with that personally

Also, he's said in an interview that he's not balancing it by himself this time. I'm not sure why everyone expects him to do the exact same **** he did with Brawl. I mean it's possible but I mean, they did a pretty different game each iteration, but now you all expect him to just keep in all the bad or some ****?

I can't wait...

Could there be room for blood in the next games?
Why the **** would you even ask that? I'd be pretty surprised if they added blood. One of the big things about Smash is that any age group can pick it up and not have their parents freak out.

There won't be blood in SSB >.>

There could be damage effects though.

Like there's stuff in Brawl like a cracked mask for MK and a cracked helmet for CF iirc, those would be kind of cool to implement.
