I remember making the support thread for her ages ago. I don't want to look at it again since I feel it was very dumb and I don't think like that any more. Still, I do want her since I've finally gotten around to playing MOTHER 3 and can easily be made different even from Lucas.

Personally, I've always been drawn to female fighters. In SFII, I started playing as Chun-li and then moved to Cammy in SSFII. I have since picked up Juri. In SoulCaliber, I like to play as Xianghua, Hilde, or Setsuka. In Blazblue, I play as the busty Chinese girl. In MvC3, my team usually consists of X23, Jill, Chun-Li, Morigan, She-Hulk, or Trisha.

I just am drawn to female fighters and I think they add a certain flair to the roster. While more females would be welcomed, they have to earn their spot on the SSB4 roster. here are eligible females in my book:

I agree. The main females that I'd love to see are probably Dixie Kong and Palutena. Maybe Krystal. But yeah, they could potentially have original/fun moves, in which I'd be even more happy.

Toon Zelda, Paulatina, Lip, Krystal, Dixie, Dark Samus (debatable), a couple of the FE girls like lynn, Micaiah etc, and a female pokemon like Zoroark are the most possible new female characters imo. some more likely than others. these characters are relevant enough in their own series, each have a fair amount of fan support, and a good chunk of them have potential for a great moveset. Lip is more or less a personal choice. i see maybe 2 of these characters getting in. any more than that would honestly surprise me.

Every fighting game always have more males than females. It's because humanity has been patriarchal for ages. I think the roster will have equal sex ratio in future installments if women rights is still active.

Not really. There's very few females that would be viable, so no matter what the males are going to out rank the women. It's not sexism, it's common sense.

At this point, I would say Palutena, Medusa, Dixie Kong, and Krystal are the females with the best chance. Then we have girls like Syrup, Mona, Lyn, and a few others who have EVEN smaller chances, but still a chance.

I think these are really, all the possible lady choices at this point. Any others are too obscure/useless

Palutena is indeed a more usefull character than Peach and Zelda, she's the reason Pit is able to fly in Uprising. Peach and Zelda only has few screentimes in their canon games, Majoras Mask proved you don't need Zelda to make a Zelda game. (lol)

Actually the one flashback scene with Zelda in MM was one of my favorite moments in the entire game and had feeling to it. The Zelda from OOT had a lot of character compared to other Zeldas, I think only WW and SS have deeper Zeldas.

It's funny for someone to say that Zelda doesn't play an important in Majora's Mask. That flashback cutscene is pivotal to the game's plot.
