I think It could be close... Isai is overhyped imo, people talk about him like hes a god or something, hes human he can lose he can be beaten
"People need dramatic examples to shake them out of winning Smash and I can't do that as Joel Alvarado. As a man, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed, but as a symbol, as Isai, I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting."

:p

Yeah total Batman syndrome here, his image is just so grand and god-like that people simply don't believe they'll ever beat him and thus they lose when they do face him. haha. Apologies for using the name if you don't want it randomly up here but it IS available online in other places

Alancitu would be around the same skill as boom or somewhere around there.

There was a few videos up with isai vs boom and I think Isai was winning by 2-3 stocks each time. So if you think a close match is 2-3 stocks... Just wow XD

I saw only one of them some ago, my god it was a very dull 8-9 minutes match. Isai just won by a small margin. And why those vids were taken offline?

Stop comparing me with someone plz. It's not important if I play better or not than someone, but it doesn't matter cuz he lives so far away from me and online games r not the same. In the beginning I thought it was going to be cool to play online but I tried it 3 days ago with a 64 adapter and I felt the controller much softer than the normal, apart from the delay. So playing online it's completely different,I think it's much better playing on console face to face. That's why I understand Superboom when he told me that he did n't do his best when he played Isai.
Anyway thank u few people who think I could do well in NorthAmerica.

Depends on what online you played. Mupen or p2p is not like "Super Delay". I think it's playable even if it's different than on console. I've barely played p2p in my life but I still think it's very playable and you can perform pretty much almost everything you can on console. Some people plays good with delay. Like Peek~, he almost always plays with delay and he's doing great on smash, best mindgames and excellent combos. Face to Face, Peer to Peer, Regular Awnlyne play, you can do AWL. My point is there is no need to say "I think it's much better playing on console face to face, I thought it would be cool to play online". Just do whatever the **** your mind tells you to do.

So why did Isai pretend to say that online matches r not the same ? and he 's not the only person who's said that

Online matches are f*** bull****. Console is all that matters.

Oh and everyone both on youtube and here whos all ''OMG ALANCITU VS ISAI EPIC LOLZ'' can shut the F**k up, right now.

Isai would win. By a large margin. Its not even a contest, stop debating it. No it wouldnt close, it wouldnt be ''epic'' itd be alancitu getting his *** handed to him for once because obviously everyone he plays in [TXW] sucks balls at smash 64 compared to him.

So for the love of god, stop pertending alancitu vs isai would be the biggest 64 smash contest of all time.

Without online I'd have no one to play with and I'd be terrible at this game. Smash 64 online is a great tool for improving and you can certainly judge general skill levels. To say its not the same is fine but to say it does not matter is dumb.

I was wondering... what do you mean with "much softer"? Do you mean it's more difficult to use tilts out of nothing, to dash dance etc.? :O

I'm not sure of this but it could be the deadzone's setting :x

I met lots of people and learn lots of things about smash playing online and it was awesome back then, i dont get why nowdays is considered f*** bull****, i bet it's just lack of BEEF! >: (.

Sad faceeeeeeeeeee*
I agree 100% with JaimeHR.
I wouldn't know what Z Cancel, DI, Taunt cancel and many other **** is without online play. I would have to learn everything by watching antdgar's videos.

WTF I disagree. I play alot of people from my district on console and I never lose.
You can play Superboom on console so I bet you don't care ?
Console sure matters but no.
I couldn't play any good players without online play except my cousin.
So don't say random **** like "console is all that matters" gg

But you can't have a true ranking system based on online. Delay changes everything, no matter how small, p2p, or whatever.

Online smash is great for fun, I love smash 64 online. It just doesnt MEAN anything. If you beat a very skilled player online, you have no right to brag since you didnt do it on console.

Oh wow isai travelled to japan and destroyed everyone but he never went to SOUTH AMERICA!11!! where ALL the best smash players live

Give me a break please.

You can play Superboom on console so I bet you don't care ?
lol he lives in Alberta I live in Montreal Quebec

Do the math, it was a one time thing pretty much and Boom had to take a plane to get down here. Not an every day, or even every year occurance.

The only people I get to face on 64 console are my brothers in law, I taught them all the advanced techs that I know and now theyre fun to fight and can almost beat me sometimes.

lol i remember the first time i played online. back in the days there was that forum that dark link had and we used irc to set up online tournaments and stuff. I thought I was the best with jigglypuff and i can do the "ultimate combo" (down air to rest) I don't even remember if I z canceled or not rofl. I got pwned so badly. Online definitely helped me improve. It taught me strategies, mindgames, combos etc. I would have never gotten this good if it weren't for online. I'm not saying that online is the ultimate test of skill or something, but it definitely has some validity.

At first I was think to agree with you but... who said all best players live here? The fact is you just cant assume there's no good players here :p

Why du u just think best players live there? I meet some good smashers from here who would beat many smashers there. U cannot make sure something if it's not sustainable enough. I'm not looking for a fight,I'm just saying my viewpoint. Sorry for saying Isai's favorite phrase but u don't know what ur talking about.

Well as someone said, why cant be people as good as Isai outside of North America and Japan? Some people tend to confuse those two places with the world.

because there's no evidence to suggest multiple players of high calibre in Antarctica

there's no confusion about japan and usa being the only two places in the world
history also tells us that the best fighting games players usually come from these two places.
