you are born the way you're born. it's disgusting that there actually exists a do over button that if you don't "feel like" the gender you're born, you can just opt out. males are always males. females are always females. ********, when they go under the knife, turn themselves into it's. nuf said.

Gender reassignment is not just "opting out." It is a very long and difficult process that takes years to go through if you only count the initial counseling, gender lifestyle immersion, hormone treatment, actual reassignment surgery, and then the post surgery recovery process. It's not like picking out a bag of chips at the store, it has enormous risks tied to it that the people who actually go through it take extremely seriously. It is literally a life changing thing because how society treats you as a person is so heavily determined by your gender and there are tons of hoops to jump through in order to properly adjust before and afterwards.

Add in: Also, gender has far more to do with what you're born with between your legs. That would be sex. Gender is how you go about yourself and how society treats you based both on your sex and your sexuality.
