When you played on Brinstar in Smash 64 you would occasionally see him flying in the back ground of the stage, same as you would see DeDeDe floating tin the back ground of dream land. Of course it doesn't mean anything specifically for Ridley. Beyond debunking the false "size matters" argument. Not that it was ever a valid one(unless you're talking about his wings or tail having actual hitbox size problems, which is a valid argument). Ridley can be scaled down, but fixing those two issues is a legitimate point.

Nah. My thought is they also can be hit to make up for them being able to hit others. This'll avoid range problems, imo. This also lets him be more than just slow. I still think he could be easily high/top tier due to that long tail. Unless most of its attacks have little to no knockback.

I didn't insult his intelligence, I'm just keeping it real. If you're gonna break down someone's argument by blatantly pointing out how someone is wrong without stating why or even trying to look at the argument from both sides you are asking for criticism. In the end I'm doing him a favor by informing him.

He has google, he can find out the truth instead of assuming the statements are wrong. Just saying "Source?" in general is as counterintuitive as it is aggravating, especially since you're on the internet.

It was way too harsh and unnecessary. Works on any end. Ad hominem is not acceptable anywhere by anyone. And yes, more information and ideas is fine, I agree. But it definitely should be suggested as respectfully as possible.

I wouldn't care if Ridley wasn't in the game, but I'll admit, he would be pretty hype to play with. Metroid is one of my all time favorite franchises next to Zelda and F-Zero, so I always look forward to his appearance in the smash games in some way

I think this could have all been avoided if you knew just how big of a Wispy supporter I am. There's a reason we haven't seen a Kirby stage yet.

(of course, one should also consider the fact that Ridley's role has evolved in each game, where as the other reoccurring characters have just reappeared in the same roles. Also, compare their role in their franchise to that of Ridley, and the number of reps their franchises have compared to Metroid. Also I want to point out I am not one of the people that thought Sakurai was making a cryptic Ridley statement with that last pic of the day.)
