Landing lag seems to be reduced all across the board regardless, so it's not that big of a problem.

You're seeing something I'm not seeing, then. Laggy moves still look laggy as hell. I think you're just seeing casual players playing the demos and auto-canceling moves, since no one is fast falling. Any time you see an aerial land, it's at least as laggy as it would have been in Melee, if not more so. In today's footage they showed Mario's fair landing and it lagged just like in Brawl.

Xenoblade X should be pretty fun. Though I'm not the biggest RPG fan. If there was another series I would want to get into, it'd be Megaman Battle Network. I heard some good things about that series too.
