I didn't watch the conference? So I knew nothing about what it was about?

What is it about anyway?
It's basically another Souls game, exclusive to Ps4, like Demon's Souls was. Directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1, not like Dark Souls 2 that was developed by From Software's Team B, because Team A was working on this.

Sorry to disagree but the atmosphere of Bioshock 1 is what makes it a great game, it was not Sci-Fi or War genre it was a unique ambient in the middle of the ocean with unique type of architecture (Art Deco, I think is) mixed with horror elements and in a utopia for me it was amazing if you think thats above average I don´t know what to say, about the gameplay please at least it did try to be unique in some ways with the powers and trap like situations so you could explode them add that it was polished good enough that at least it was precise and in no way a mediocre gameplay. You should point other things but not those if you think thats what make the game another ****ty shooter.
...

There have been PLENTY of shooters where you could interact with your environment and your enemies to that degree. Same with unique abilities. Some of them even PRECEDED Bioshock by a margin of years. Bioshock isn't any different from those games in that regard. The gameplay, while polished, wasn't innovative.

That said, I ****ing love Bioshock because of its above average atmosphere.

You f...ing shoot almost in every room, even most of the doors and some puzzles you need specific weapon to pass it. So you are telling me the exploration, platforming, adventuring and puzzles could not go hand to hand with the shooter genre and because of that is not considered a shooter is laughable and again can we drop this, is like discussing if Smash is a fighting game or a plataform/party competitive game. No one is right, is a personal opinion.

.n_n.
Riiiiight because shooting a door is totally the same as shooting something moving.

Gamestop labels it as a FPA. Even Nintendo labels it as a FPA.

While I'm pretty sure both of those label Smash Bros as a fighting game.

It's From Soft's new game!

From the looks of it (and based on the leaked gameplay footage of it) it is essential Dark Souls with guns and zombies!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

Too bad it's PS4 exclusive...
1) Guns, having only seen the shotgun, will probably only be crossbow-like weapons with explosive bullets.
2) Zombies? If you consider what are probably hollows zombies yeah. Remember any souls games, the hollowed enemies are really similar to zombies

Like always it looks amazing this type of games, I have tried Demon's Souls and it looks incredible but I haven't it finish it or even put or will I play it again in the next months because of the gameplay, is so slow and heavy like Monster Hunter that it saddens me that I can´t enjoy it as much as I would like.

Speaking of Dark Souls. I'm currently mad at the game.

I thought with the Master Key I could skip the Taurus Demon. But nope. And I do not want to fight the ****ing thing again.

I assume Bloodborne has to do with zombies, due to it's name, and also because there are guns and zombie-like characters in the trailer.
wouldn't really matter if they call them zombies though. They know how to really handle these kinds of subjects, like they did with the hollow curse. Zombies would most likely be the dumb enemies. From what can we see in both the trailer and the leaked gameplay, the bosses are really non-human, like in souls games (I'm talking about that thing that clearly kills the protagonist in the end of the cgi animation)

I know that they aren't explicitly zombies, but they look like them and behave like them (moving in a group) and the game's freaking called "Bloodborne" which would clearly allude to the game being about some sort of disease.

Instead of making me watch a video, can you give me a TL;DW instead?
Start on firelink shrine, go to new londo, to the right there's a tower with a locked door, you open this door with the master key and run fast as **** through the valley of drakes. take the elevator there on a cave and you reach the dark root basin. don't go to the tower with havel, go up and reach the dark root garden, go to where the blacksmith and thats it, you reached the cathedral where the bell is

That isn't any fun though. I don't want to skip my way to the second bell. I just don't want to fight the damned Capra Demon again. I had enough of him from the The first time I was playing before I restarted, due to not have played the game for a couple of months.

I certainly will take my time with series probably a few years, my problem is the slowness of the hacking and escaping of the enemy rolling? Until you put more strength into the stats of your character? And for that it takes time and patience something I would prefer to have in the first go (Hack/Slash, Beat'm Up, Action, Platform) still I will iron my will and try to finish the Souls series.

Yeah but you don´t need to reinvent the wheel if is already there, you only need to polish it enough so the cart could go on and get to its goal, and for me the gameplay system did that, I was not expecting something like wings or turbines.

The atmosphere was excellent in Bioshock nothing more, nothing less, (I know is personal opinion but for me it has become a standard of what the games need to do to surprise me and getting me excited).

Riiiiight because shooting a door is totally the same as shooting something moving.

Because Gamespot is god and knows all things, Nintendo likes to put twists to its games like for example Fire Emblem and Wars, both are Turn-based gameplay in its core, where Fire Emblem adds the RPG element and with that the series is considered an hybrid Turn-based/RPG where Wars is a pure Turn-based.

And yes I consider Smash a fighting game but does that mean the people that consider it a Platform/Party competitive game are wrong? Not necessarily they are right because Smash could be consider a Platformer in its core and a party game for the main reason of the four players matches.

The other way in the Valley of Drakes takes you to Blighttown, effectively skipping Capra Demon and the Depths (and most of Blighttown)

"Pic of the day. New Super Mario Bros. 2 is a game where you collect tons of coins. Thus, it's only natural that many coins will appear in this stage… Wait, is this really Super Smash Bros??"

"If you collect 100 coins, you transform into a gold fighter! For a short period of time, your attack power will increase and you won't flinch when you receive attacks. This unique stage's name is Golden Plains and it's exclusive to the 3DS version."

So this might seem a bit random, but did anyone hear about the Reading Rainbow Kickstarter? Seems like a good idea to get younger children to start reading more these days. I can appreciate the thought that goes into these kinds of things. They've got over a month left and they reach most the Kickstarter goals.

Back to E3 talk, Konami's event is starting up soon. Do you think we'll see something substantial outside of the Metal Gear series? It'd be a real nice surprise to see a Castlevaina game that plays more like the classic games.

Wow. The golden fighter is a pretty interesting idea. I mean, anyone who mostly plays competitively might not care all that much. But it adds some flair to the stage. And it's just cool to look at nonetheless. I wonder if the Wii-U version of the game will have it's own unique Stage Powerup.

All I want to do is skip the Capra Demon. ;-;

Is there no way to do that without skipping other stuff?
Do you want to skip the taurus demon or the capra demon, you first said taurus so i gave you the info on skipping taurus. If i recall correctly, you can skip capra by just going to where taurus fog gate is, going down the stairs instead of fighting him, and open the door to the depths with the master key, because, the capra drops the key needed, but as you have the master one, you don't need it

EDIT: TO WHERE THE CAPRA FOG GATE IS, NOT THE TAURUS, sorry, typed incorrectly

I dislike both equally.
Well, then I'd recommend fighting the Capra Demon.

It's more spoils for you, though I would recommend creating the Firelink Shrine/Undead Burg shortcut through the waterway first (and spend your souls, he he)

I believe that is incorrect.

I recall the Master Key not being usable there.

The Capra. Don't know why I said Taurus first. I meant Capra. And it won't let me do that. I have the Master Key and everything, but the door won't ****ing open. >_>

Loot hunting alone on Borderlands 2 until Nintendo news appears. Hopefully I'll find an Infinity Pistol before the news so I can feel REALLY good before the news starts.

What waterway shortcut?

The only shortcut I know about so far are the elevators from the Undead Parish.

I was just informed that I have a goddamn dentist appointment tomorrow...at 12. Nintendo's presentation apparently starts at 9 am in my time zone...right?

Maybe they should inform me of the appointment date ahead of time like smart people instead of letting me know at the last minute.

Well if you want to, you can go to firelink shrine, take the elevator to new londo, open the shortcut door to the right, and instead of going to the valley of drakes, enter the huge cave, that will take you right to blighttown, but it will skip not only the capra demon, but the depths and the gaping dragon, as well as some of the first parts of blighttown, taking you right to the swamp part of it near Queelagh

Past the Capra Demon's Fog Gate is a hall with a single archer Hollow leading to the other side of the waterway you enter the Undead Burg through.

From there you can open the locked door in the waterway to get back to the Shrine.

Oh that. Good God my brain is not working tonight. Yea I already have that open. It was the first thing I did getting to the Lower Undead Burg.

Checking again, the presentation is in fact from 9 to 12 my time.

However, since fate loves to conspire against me on occasion from time to time, this means that Smash Bros will be the last game to be showed, likely around 11:40 am, at which time I'll either be pressured to get ready for the dentist, or already on my way to the dentist.

Count on it. It's going to screw me over somehow.
