However, since fate loves to conspire against me on occasion from time to time, this means that Smash Bros will be the last game to be showed, likely around 11:40 am, at which time I'll either be pressured to get ready for the dentist, or already on my way to the dentist.

Count on it. It's going to screw me over somehow.

I don't think the presentation goes for three hours... I mean, I fricken wish it did, but isn't it like a 30-60 minute thing?

What SL are you? You could summon a player to help you if you play online in human form. (If you're afraid of getting invaded, just enter from the Firelink Shrine and gun it until you get to the fog gate and wait, there should be summon signs.)

Most of the time I fight the early game bosses with summons, they're actually awesome players who are doing SL1 runs with cool gear and totally wreck bosses.

If you are iffy on actually enjoying Dark Souls, don't get DkS2. I don't agree with everyone else; it's harder than Dark Souls and it's very luck based. In my opinion, it's worse than the other two games.

Demon's Souls, however, is the reason I got into those games. It's basically Dark Souls but with levels instead of a big open world (so in other words, you won't skip anything except through exploits)

I dunno, it's not bad, but it didn't feel like the other two games, but at the same time, borrowed from them too much.

From all the borrowed content DaS took from DeS, I'm kinda mad they didn't put Garl Vinland and the Maiden in the game. That's one of my favourite parts of the first game, they could've at least have gave a reference in the game.

Well, they kept the crestfallen dude, Patches, Ostrava's storyline is somewhat similar to Solaire's.

You even fight their father as a final boss (even though calling real King Allant a final boss is kinda ridiculous, it's more of a mercy kill). And Solaire may well be Gwyn's son according to some item's descriptions on DaS2.

A small shield depicting a hero of yore.
Perhaps these famed champions are no more, or perhaps they have no desire appear in public view.

EDIT: I kinda liked the shrine of Amana, and the boss in there kinda redeems the area alltogether
And although the Black Gulch is a living hell, i really liked it too.
