I didn't think I would stay up late enough to watch the whole conference.

My main problem is all the games look the same, only a handful stand out.

Overall I give Sony a B.
LBP3, Uncharted 4 and the R&C movie I'm looking forward to. Their presentation was all the same at the beginning, dead in the middle, but No Man's Sky was just show stopping.
Third party looked good, especially Batman.

Just 13 hours until Nintendo's. Seems so far away.

Show's over folks! Ended things off with Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (sounds like they're trying to bring a conclusion to the series, especially with the quote "One Last Time".)

I thought the whole thing was "OK". There were some serious hype killers throughout that bogged things down, whether they be TV show banter or just cricket-tastic jokes... As it stands, I think Xbox and Sony are tied for the lead by just being "OK". Not quite mind-blowing, but "OK".

I give Sony a B+. It would've been an A if not for the tv show/non-game talking.
I give Microsoft a C+ because there wasn't much that was exclusive or new and there were too many cinematic trailers.
I give Ubisoft a D+ for being almost all trailer, crap games, and little gameplay footage.
I give EA a D for most of the same reasons as ^ plus overhyping sports games.

Other than that, I'm excited for what Nintendo has to offer. And I liked most of what Sony showed. Does anyone know if Capcom will show more stuff at E3? I was kind of expecting something on Resident Evil 7. Though obviously, I'm more interested in any Megaman news that may or may not show up. Another Final Fight game would be neat too.

There was...almost nothing in that entire presentation that interested me. Basically just No Man's Sky. But I am rather picky and outside of their target audience, though there's usually a couple things that catch my interest. They certainly had a lot of different things in terms of sheer numbers though so that's nice.

I knew I wouldn't be interested in microsoft and sony but I have to admit some part of sony conference looks good and looks appealing to me (normally, I only care seriously about nintendo and indie dev and nothing else).

I dunno, I honestly had absolutely no problems with their conference overall.

But I can understand that claim and feeling, so it's no big deal.

Yeah, variety seems to be Sony's main market. I like it.

They brought gems like Okami, Journey, Flow, and now No Man's Sky (and possibly Abdu/Journey 2: Under the Sea) and the silent adventure market is a relatively small niche outside of Zelda games.

I'd say in general:

Nintendo: Family/small variety/depth
Microsoft: copies others, main income is Windows
Sony: Mature/large variety/depth
EA: sports
Ubisoft: A couple great games, a couple generic party games

The conference did drag down during the talk about hardware and software, but it was pleasantly jam-packed with a variety of titles, so it balanced out for a decent few hours overall.

Microsoft had some interesting things, but I still doesn't make me want to buy a xbox one. EA pretty much went through the motions, sort of boring though and I'm not interested in most of the games they showed. Ubisoft was.... yeah. Valiant Hearts looks interesting though.

I'm going to give Sony a B-. All the tv talk and media talk,"Free to Play" bs, releasing hd versions of year old games, dedicating (in my opinion) too much time to multi-platform games brought the conference down a lot. No Man's Sky looks amazing, but it's not making want to dish out the money for a PS4 though.

I can't believe I actually like Microsoft's conference more... what's wrong with me!? Come on Nintendo don't fail me!!!!

"Free to Play" bs, releasing hd versions of year old games

Free to Play is great to me, especially if there's quality content (which there seems to be). There's always the pay for extras aspect, that's how they can make a profit from FtP. I like being able to enjoy a game without having to spend money I don't have, or save up for months and only get it after everyone's pretty much done with it.

HD remakes are a real thing. They really hit the spot to me with Okami HD. It's always nice to get a classic reworked to have up to date graphics and allow anyone who hasn't played the game yet to enjoy the story.

Eh judging by the games shown at the Sony conference, have a list of them, I would have only been interested in Destiny, and that is coming out on PS3, 360, and Xbone as well as the PS4, and that in itself is very limited due to the game requiring Wi-Fi to be played (my Wi-Fi sucks if you don't already know). Everything else was eh from the list I read. Nothing that really interested me.
