Anyone know why it needs two USB chords?
I think it would be the grey one for the power and the black one for the data (aka input). I'm saying this because the WiiU pro controller has a grey cord for the charge (but I don't know if they could have done that on one port...)

EDIT: kind of ninja'd BUT I MENTIONED THE COLORS!!!

I believe it's something like one fore power and the other for data

@R0Y can explain it.
I would think it's because the Wii U USB ports are actually pretty weak
gamepad by itself flickers if you use a usb charger since it just doesn't power it enough for example

So yeah not weird to think one handles powering it and rumble and the other inputs or something like that

I'm seriously going to download the video and save the part when they announced it. You have to admit how hilarious it was it's like this theme in TTYD.
It's the same and exact reaction you get but mixed with a strong hype feeling.

"Pic of the day. Here's a first look at the bottom-screen display for the Nintendo 3DS. Your name will appear in the area above the accumulated damage. And if you tap one of the fighter displays…!"

"…You can highlight that fighter on your screen. This is useful when you want to get back at a particular opponent. You can also highlight yourself if you need to keep better track of where you are. This is a great benefit to having your own individual screen."

That bottom screen looks cool. I kind of imagined something like this for the 3DS version of the game.

I decided to continue a poem I started a year ago

Compared to what I wrote down today, the poem from a year ago looks like a work of art

Brilliant by comparison

One thing I'm curious about today's PotD is what will it look like when 6 characters are fighting at once (you know, for stuff like Multi-Man Mode, assuming it returns).

for any souls fan here, gameplay videos leaked on project beast
I saw that. Not sure what to make of this, but the fact it is called "Project Beast" and that is supposedly PS4 exclusive heavily hints it's a sequel to Demon's Souls, which is awesome. Plus, shotguns in Souls? Hell yes, sign me up.

Oh THIS is a fascinating mechanic

In Digimon (I'm not sure if it's in the games)

If two digimon DNA digivolve, then die, instead of being reborn in two separate digi eggs, they are born into a single digi egg that has the potential to grow a more powerful digimon

It's kind of like the breading mechanic for pokemon except you loose the parents in the process, making it a larger risk/ reward factor

Sounds like the fusing monster mechanics in Dragon Quest Monster Joker
