Yeah, but that hasn't stopped a lot of people listed as female from actually being male. I can name five off the top of my head. It concerns me because I know a few of those people who took Gonzales' Smash survey would skew the fragile gender demographics if they continued identifying as female. It'd be mildly psychotic because they don't even identify as female in real life, so there's no basis for it.

Anyway, I saw Oculus tonight. It goes overboard with the "lol jk" twists though so by the end it's kind of a boring mess. A little better than your average horror film, though. But then again, I went in with low expectations. Karen Gillan is unbelievably attractive in this movie; At least until she has no qualms about offing its break-out character, Dog (a dog named Dog.)

So who would take the fifth and final spot? Jigglypuff! It's friggin' obvious! Jigglypuff has been EVERY game since the original! Taking him out would be stupid! ALL of you need to take that under consideration! "Oh you're a Jigglypuff fanboy! You're the only loser who enjoys Jigglypuff!" First off, Yes, I like using her, but I don't use her all the time. Secondly, I'm looking at reality here: Anybody who was in the original Smash Bros. IS going to be in this game. We have the 8 original starters and Luigi. All that's left is Capt. Falcon, Ness and Jigglypuff! Get over it! If you don't like using Jigglypuff, then here is an awesome idea: Don't play as her. Simple."

"Oh gods... Once again, as millions have said before for the last few years, Lucario did NOT take Mewtwo's spot. Mewtwo was planned for Brawl (and Smash 64), but didn't make it in due to- I believe- timeframe. Lucario was his own spot, and wasn't replacing anybody. And they only have one similar move which both have different mechanics. Their movesets are very different.

In Brawl, the Pokemon roster had six Pokemon in it, so it's possible to have six Pokemon now. Four Pokemon have entered, Jigglypuff is not confirmed, no matter the circumstances, so that still leaves potential for Mewtwo.

I'm no Mewtwo fan, but facts are facts, and the fact is Mewtwo is still the most desired character currently. Sakurai is aware of this, so I'm sure he'll do his best to get Mewtwo playable."

There's nothing wrong with you preferring Brawl over it whatsoever. It's your cup of tea and they should respect you for your preference. You're not in the wrong, they are for calling you names instead of respecting your decision.

Just ignore them. If they start flaming you or anything, report it. It's already elitism to believe your way is the only correct way, but that's not too hard to ignore in the first place. But when they start being jerks about it as is, we've got a problem. That said, it's easy to roll your eyes that one time. But if they keep it up, bring it to the attention of the higher-ups.

If I were to take a guess it's probably because the mods were having to go in there and defuse off topic subjects several times a day and it's become a source of ire rather then a useful source of information.
