So uh.... Has anyone here been online here on SmashBoards while there is no smash game to speculate? Just asking because I'm curious about what we will do when both versions of the game come out and there's nothing left of smash to speculate but DLC

I can already see Shulk being higher tier out of the gate. That being said, he'll be one of those characters that requires you to have lots of knowledge about how and when to use each Art for each situation. Though I am curious as to what his Final Smash is, I'd assume it's a chain attack... or Cyclone, or Buster.

Stat-Boost characters generally are well-performing, but require more skill from the player.

According to the Shulk thread, people have noticed that Monado Cyclone and Monado Buster are part of the Arts involved. Which implies that not every Art is going to be merely a stat boost, but instead some sort of attack. Though at the moment, we only know one clear detail, which is Monado Speed boosting Shulk's speed.

I honestly can't wait to try out Shulk, I just fell in love with Xenoblade ever since I started watching a LP of it. While it hasn't finished, the 40 episodes that are currently available just has me so excited to play it for myself.

Shulk and the monaco are two interesting things that I still don't know all about, and the play style from the leak video and this mode switching mechanic is so intriguing. Being able to change how a character plays on the fly is incredible. I would love to be able to do that. Especially for a portable game. It would allow me to experiment so much and I love it. <3

I think it might be the Monado II because of the number of different arts Shulk was using in the video. If one of them was Monado cyclone, Shulk defiantly has the Monado II. Could be wrong though.
