You know, he was an integral part of my childhood, but I've experienced so much death in my life, I've grown used to these things. To death. It's super ****ing depressing, but I get over death really quickly. Just desensitized, you know? But this made me cry. Like a baby.

Don't forget the soundtrack too!
Of course, Before my body dries and the Opening/Ending themes are all to die for. <3

The character themes are also great. I have Mako's theme linked in my sig. <3
Oh goody! If it's as over the top as it seems, then I'll finally have an alternative to dub Madoka in terms of non-serious seriousness.
I will say though, it has quite a bit of Fanservice. If you are able to deal with it though, (and look at it for the hilarity that it is), then it will be a fantastic experience. :D

Yeah, I just caught wind of the Robin Williams news elsewhere. I may not seem it, especially in person, but deep down, this really shakes me up. He was one of my favourite actors, if not my absolute favourite. There was just something very genuine about him, like, I felt like everyone knew him not because he was a celebrity, but because he was just a really jolly person with a sense of wisdom too. Talking about him almost felt like talking about someone close to home, even though he's always been at the other side of the world.

It's going to be surreal knowing I'll never see him in anything new again. I hope there is some broadcast of the funeral. Condolences to his family and friends, especially Ms. Zelda Williams.

Eh, fanservice is in everything ever. Unless it's extremely distracting and in every episode, I'm sure I'll be able to look past it. Looks like I have something to watch when I finish Death Note then!

Now I'm listening to the Move On Up Anzo remix, which makes me feel a little better. I suggest you guys listen, too.

Saying Kill la Kill's fanservice is extremely distracting is an understatement.

And ironically, the only nipples you see are male nipples.

I take up the mantle of Derp Genie once more to honor Robin Williams' memory.

May God find mercy for his soul (if it really was suicide). He doesn't deserve to be in Hell....

Um...Just a quick question, have you by any chance seen what the main character is suppose to change into each episode? :3

aw piss, only male nipples? Now I'm not interested

I- I mean, I guess if I make it a point to note that there is a ton of fanservice I'll be able to ignore it? I dunno, I won't know how bad it is until I watch it. It's good to come in armed with knowledge though. something I haven't done for any of the 3-ish anime I've seen

I never do research in case I stumble upon spoilers. But I guess I'll come in prepared...

I never thought I would be this upset over a celebrity death. RIP Mr. williams.
He's a celebrity that actually meant something, both as an entertainer and an all around good person.

I find it weird though that he was severely depressed. That doesn't sound like him at all...

It's surreal that he's gone given he's somebody whose been in movies I've watched all my life: Hook, Popeye, Aladdin, Patch Adams, Toys, Ferngully, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting, Dead Poets Society, etc. Aside from a handful of actors and actresses, there's not a lot of them that I felt a connection with. It's strange because he's a stranger that I've known my whole life and grew up watching his films. All and all, he seemed like a good man and he will most definitely be missed.

Wait, you're on the fence about KLK?

Watch that ****, brotha. Over the top action and plenty of comedy, though with a surprisingly coherent world and mythos. There is fanservice, but the show is self-aware enough both to not take itself too seriously, and to not be gratuitous with skimpiness (i.e. the revealing outfits and frequent nudist mishaps work in service of the very fast-pace story, and aren't just there to titillate (though titillate it surely will ;)).

It also has flashy animation and a sweet OST. KLK has Sehnsucht's Seal of Animuh Approval.

Not really on the fence so much as I'm currently watching Death Note and will probably start watching Kill la Kill when I finish Death Note.

Wait Robin Williams passed away?
WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?
MY WHOLE WORLD IS CRASHING DOWN
That's rather heartbreaking to hear, I loved him so much and his movies always made me laugh. I'm gonna miss him.
