Lol, those who will be lost are the ones who aren't interested in competitiveness. It's long overdue, anyway.
It will be a dark day for speculators, but a good day for competitive players. We've been waiting for this moment to come.
We will talk about the metagame of the two versions, a weakness to speculators. There will be not much for them to talk about, causing them to leave CompetitiveBoards. A few days after release, character support threads will have a lot of posts, but after that, the metagame will start.
I can see that day being a sad one, but a good one as well.

I was actually referring to how so many users will die in real life because the world is ending soon trust me.

I don't think anyone is, lol. I was just saying that the forums will be about matchups, tier lists, frame data, tourneys, online events, friendlies to improve a player's skill, etc.
I have nothing against speculators.

Well, Classic Sonic in Smash 4 would please Sammy and MTP.. but he only appeared in Generations just because of Sonic's 20th Anniversary.

That would make a lot of people happy. But I feel like it wouldn't work. Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic are different sizes. Granted it'd be less drastic than Link and Toon Link. These different sizes would **** with the hitboxes.

I came here for speculation at one point, however I think it'll get more interesting once Smash 3DS comes out. I'll be fighting some folks online here, as well as trying out all the characters, and seeing how their fight style is. Though I'm mostly looking forward to trying out Robin and seeing if Link is better than he was in Melee and Brawl. :p

Well...Sakurai did say even the slighest difference means that costume becomes a character, so...

I would kill for that, though.
Modern Sonic isn't nearly as great as Classic. Mostly because he talks.

Corocoro has started leaking, with Mega Altaria and Lopunny being the first to come out. We should be getting more Megas (and other ORAS information) soon enough, and the Smash info shouldn't be too far behind.

I'll probably do online matches and join online tournaments for Smash 3DS. Maybe online tournaments can help a character's viability?
Link is a lot better than what he was in Brawl. That's what I heard, though. Tether recoveries got buffed, he's faster (I think?), and some of his aerial attacks can auto cancel.

Mega Altaria? Lmao, I was right all this time.
