I just realized that Kiva is switching between 2008 and 1986

The two characters haven't met because they are from different time periods

I don't think the Game Boy pic hints at something, or a character, like Meta Knight. I think Dedede and Kirby were put in the stage because they debuted on that platform and / or it probably was Sakurai's first game.. correct me if wrong.

Both.

Sakurai developed Kirby's Dreamland (his first game) in 1991, when he was 19.
Or I think it was 1991, could've been 1990.

But anyway, yes, Kirby and Dedede debuted on Game Boy, and it was Sakurai's first game.

Lol, Mega Altaria seems "hype". A Dragon- and Fairy-type with Pixilate sounds cool. This could make it go to the higher tiers. Its Moonblast move gets STAB in the Mega Evolution.
Of course, it could take the offensive route and use an offensive Dragon Dance set. That's if its base Attack and Special Attack got a buff. Its Defense and Special Defense will probably be buffed too.
Anyways, the Game Boy stage looks cool.

It's going to be interesting on how the GB stage plays out. When seeing it for the first time, man, I thought the characters were sprites to match (Smash Land), but they're just the normal SSB3DS models. xD

Hmm, Blaziken is Captain Falcon's secret Pokémon. Falcon showed his moves to Blaziken, and as of now, the only thing left for Blaziken is to do a Falcon Punch. :troll:

I'm kidding. lol

Blaziken is the Kamen Rider of Pokemon

...One of the non bug themed Kamen riders...

On that's actually chicken themed.

He does have a kick attack as his signature move too

Joe from Serebii just posted in the CoroCoro thread, saying he's keeping an eye out for us. Ohmigosh. I feel like I just was in the presence of someone famous #fangirling

Well, that's good news. Hopefully we get to see some Smash stuff by then.

I honestly think the CoroCoro leak for Smash will have the confirmed characters from the official site and their custom moves.
We have 36(?) days left until Smash 3DS is released in Japan, anyways. If anything, the full roster will be leaked once it's September.

Does anyone here think Smash 4 will "fail" to be a viable competitive game, like.... previous Smash games were competitive. We shouldn't think these two games are going to fail competitively.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't playing competitively fun? Lol.

It is fun but i'm sure it will show some promise to the competitive line of course it's gonna focus on casuals first then over competitive players but i'm sure sakurai will find a way to appeal to both

I honestly don't care if it will 'fail' as a competitive game. There's Project M for the Melee fans.

There's already like 80,000 threads discussing how Smash 4 is too close to Brawl or won't be good competitively. No need to discuss here.

Does it feel fun?
Competitive tournaments are like those sessions with bets on horses. Some literally analyze down the horse they want to choose bit by bit,see how many races they've won or lost. Once they know a horse's style (or in this case,a player's technique) and decided to stick with them, they can only hope for the best, and hopefully luck will prevail.
