Except when it loses to a young Snivy without any battle experience, while Pikachu had traveled through four regions (one even multiple times) and a couple of islands....and where kids don't age and Pikachu is God.
To be fair, mega evolutions raised the bar when it comes to things being goofy broken. Granted, they're not all like this but Game Freak did admit that their intention was to create Pokemon as strong or stronger than most legendaries.Smogon has become a little ban-happy, didn't they?
Well that's because with every iteration. A distortion in time and space gives Ash and Pikachu's short term memory loss and they revert back to mindset that they had in Kanto.Except when it loses to a young Snivy without any battle experience, while Pikachu had traveled through four regions (one even multiple times) and a couple of islands.
not too far off. at least for Unova the electrical thing from Zekrom in the first episode reverse-rare-candied him so he was weak again or something.Well that's because with every iteration. Or they were just showing how unfair Action Replays are. That's how Trip (I think that's his name) beat Ash.Well that's because with every iteration. A distortion in time and space gives Ash and Pikachu's short term memory loss and they revert back to mindset that they had in Kanto.
It was never good, you just liked it because you were a kid and a Pokémon-fan.Bit late, but Happy birthday, @Weeman! (Sorry if I butchered your name or anything )
Anyway, we're talking about the Pokemon anime now it seems? Well, I used to watch it when it was still good. After Hoenn it just wasn't that good, but I still enjoy the games for some reason.
3 seconds gameplay. So Nintendo goes Konami now?So this is the JP Smash Bros. 3DS commercial. I personally don't really like it, because it is severely malnourished in the gameplay department.
It's pretty malnourished period. So this is the JP Smash Bros. 3DS commercial. I personally don't really like it, because it is severely malnourished in the gameplay department.
(Takes your bucket of popcorn and throws it out of the window)
(Takes said bucket of popcorn and leaves, all the while hissing)
(Divides by zero)
It also might help if said ad was longer than 15 seconds. Could have used a bit less of the cutscenes too. Though normally I'd be happy if some commercials were that mercifully short. So this is the JP Smash Bros. 3DS commercial. Original Pokemon was pretty good. And it stayed good all the way up to Jhoto. It went downhill at Hoen.It was never good, you just liked it because you were a kid and a Pokémon-fan.
That thing got banned a long time ago, yes.Like Mega Kangaskhan?
Yes, they banned Aegislash. Pokémon that were deemed "unviable" or not that good by Smogon in OU are now capable of being used in the tier. Including but not limited to:Wait, they actually did it??! i thought that suspect thing from weeks ago was going nowhere, well that seriously makes no sense to me.
by the time season 1 ends you can start seeing the formula of:Original Pokemon was pretty good. And it stayed good all the way up to Jhoto. It went downhill at Hoen.
But at least when the show started it made sense that Ash was a clueless ****er. And he wasn't reset in the Orange Islands or Johto and actually knew what he was doing in to an extent. And it did a good job with random **** that happened that made no sense.
I don't know. I was still quite young and a huge pokemon fan when the Hoen episodes started and I still noticed very distinctly that the show's quality jumped straight off a huge cliff at a sprint. It wasn't like I watched the earlier episodes as a kid, then watched the later and was like "wow this is stupid the episodes I watched as kid were way better". I watched it continuously and at the start of one season it just took the biggest, most obvious quality dive I have ever seen.It was never good, you just liked it because you were a kid and a Pokémon-fan.
And even then, Ho-oh did appear in the first episode of the anime before it's first video game appearance. Who's to say Zekrom hasn't been following them this entire time?not too far off. at least for Unova the electrical thing from Zekrom in the first episode reverse-rare-candied him so he was weak again or something.
That is what we call plot convenience. To give us the illusion that Ash is a well-made character rather than a marketing tool.Or they were just showing how unfair Action Replays are. That's how Trip (I think that's his name) beat Ash.
Wait..So this is the JP Smash Bros. 3DS commercial. I personally don't really like it, because it is severely malnourished in the gameplay department.
Well, whatever floats their boat.Lol, I went to Serebii's forums again. They're still with the "I have claimed -whatever-!".
I guess, lol. They're into this sort of shipping in the Pokémon anime. Eh..yeah, whatever floats their boat.Well, whatever floats their boat.
That's actually funny that I learn this now because I just responded to someone and said that I think he was cut.Since the commercial is final, that automatically means Snake is disconfirmed.. but hey, he might pop up as a DLC character or something else.
Wait, I thought Intelligent Systems was there for Fire Emblem.. yeah, they make Paper Mario games too. That's actually funny that I learn this now because I just responded to someone and said that I think he was cut.
Guess it's solid now.
At least intelligent system will stay there (you can *shot fired* if you want).
That's why I said you could *shot fired* because it's obvious way I said thatWait, I thought Intelligent Systems was there for Fire Emblem.. yeah, they make Paper Mario games too.
Lol, if Paper Mario is actually on this game, expect to see Paper Mario vs. Toon Link matches. That's why I said you could *shot fired* because it's obvious way I said that
Oh, I see. lolThat's actually funny that I learn this now because I just responded to someone and said that I think he was cut.

Well, I have reasons to believe he's on a tease. I'm not that confident, but as more potd pass, if we don't get any news, that's good.Lol, if Paper Mario is actually on this game, expect to see Paper Mario vs. Toon Link matches.
That's if he's actually in this game. If he isn't, oh well, at least Mario exists.
It's fine to see people supporting their characters, you know. Speculation will end in about 37 days, the full roster will be leaked and now the forums will be competitive-based. All I'm gonna say is that if Ridley is not in this game, Samus will still be there, waiting for the player to use her.Well, I have reasons to believe he's on a tease. But seriously, I won't be disappointed if he isn't (yeah that stage solved every worry I had). In fact, I can rely on Ridley since I really think he's safe.
However, getting Ridley and Paper Mario will make me cry. The 2 I care the most enough to support...It's even unimaginable to think that it MIGHT happen.
As I said, no disappointment possible, but even if samus as other m design, I like it. In fact, I do not understand why some might not like something just because it came from a poorly appreciated game. I see a lot of hate on that Paper Mario stage because sticker star and yet, I analysed the stage to tell that it was a good choice especially for 3d effects. People need to understand that this is smash, if the source wasn't good, it could be good in smash. It's fine to see people supporting their characters, you know. But by then it will be all competitive-based, as I said before, so I will be talking about a character, like Pikachu. Matchups and stuff.
Agreed. It's good to see it end because we'll be able to see the final roster.. and like you said, it's also saddening because some characters might not be in.It is exciting and saddening that the character speculation will be over soon. I remember this time near the release of Brawl. The Geno and Ridley threads were super excited, only to be heart broken. Is it just me, or are the character threads not as die hard as the Brawl days?
Everything is possible. Those two characters might be in, they might not. It's all about hoping and what will the final roster be when someone leaks everything about Smash 3DS. Samus has been buffed, so she's already better than what she was in Brawl. Some people think ZSS and Samus are the same person, which is true, but a way to make them different is by thinking that Samus is the SA-X from Metroid Fusion and ZSS is the real Samus. In the end, both are the same characters. As I said, no disappointment possible, but even if samus as other m design, I like it. So, I'll be ok with samus, but I don't see Ridley NOT getting in. I literally ran out of devil advocate arguments after months of heavy speculation, that shouldn't happen (it's based on still maintaining consistency).
