Let's just say their archtype pisses me off to no end. -_- That said, yeah, I get what you mean.
Exactly.

I thrived off of rage quits. :p

Honestly, I've never gotten into card games.
Simply because I hardly know anyone who plays them (I think there's a hobby shop around here that does have tournaments. But mostly for Magic: the Gathering).
I remember having Pokemon, Yugioh, and at one point Neopet (I don't know either) trading cards at one point. But I hardly play anymore...
To be fair, I hardly know anyone with a 3DS. And the ones I do know either don't have them that often, or I don't see too often.
I remember one of my sibling having a DS. But, they hate playing against me...
...This is also why I prefer games with online...
The only problem is the Card game are usually expensive to actually build a good deck, irl. MTG is the cheapest of them I believe. And I think Yugioh is the most expensive, Yugioh literally has a card that is actually priceless (no joke). But Yugioh is tons of fun if you can afford it, it just kinda gets boring after a while when you play online.

The only games I really keep are Virtual Console games.
Though, I've been considering starting to just buy "physical" games on the Eshop.
That way not only can I play them as I please, but then I can re-download for free if I ever want to play them again.

If you ever do. A decent idea would be trying Pokemon Showdown.
It's a competitive Pokemon site without the hassle of raising Pokemon (mind you it uses Smogon's rules).
I'm sort of the opposite. I tend to like having physical copies of games. Not to say I never use Download titles though. Eh, I guess I could sell a game or two I don't play as much anymore. But I don't have a huge collection of stuff as it is. Mostly just Gamecube and DS games, with a couple of PS2 stuff thrown in.

There's nothing bad about you liking those games, but damn in that game with the figures and stuff you're paying for content that's already in. That's no good.
True. Very true. But then again...I'm a collector and collecting the figures is actually more fun than playing the game.

I just realized how horrible it would be if Smash would force you to buy figures to play with characters. 40+ figures......

Disney Infinity doesn't have very "Disney" characters

No classics at least.

WTF is with all the ONLY MODERN characters?

Eh, I dunno.
Maybe I'll look around to see if their any local groups around me.
But for right now I'm mostly video games (and webcomics).

Honestly, I only really have 2 or 3 games at a time.
Which is why I never really post anything about wanting to square off online. Cause I don't have them.
Though, I'm thinking of getting a pre-owned copy of MK7 (I'm one of the few who actually like that game) so maybe I'll try opening up a community.
But that won't be till later...

...Really, this is the main reason I dislike Skylanders-esque games.
When I unlock a character, I want to fell like I've done something. Like I've actually gotten better (which is why I support unlockables).
This just feels more pay-to-play. All I'm doing is spending money. Sure, it gives me someone else. But it just doesn't give the same feel.

I'm Master Hand in real life...
And I'm Crazy Hand...
...BROTHER! IT'S BEEN SO LONG!

So, just to be a delightful SOB, has anyone else noticed all the major villains who have been made into stage hazards so far? We've already got Twinrova, the Yellow Devil, and the Ultimate Ghost; I wonder who else this could apply to in the future? :troll:

...Wait, who's Ultimate Ghost?

Also, those weren't confirmed as Stage Hazards. They're fairly possible, but their role is still unknown. Some have guessed Yellow Devil is a boss, and that Koume and Kotake(Twinrova has yet to be appear officially, or possibly ever) were not implied to do anything but show and that they are probably evil.(his Japanese Miiverse post says "They're definitely evil, right?" when properly translated. Basically... the translation was a bit off. They could be Assist Trophies, as he didn't say "they only appear on this stage". Besides, remember his Pyrosphere comment? Who shows up? An Assist Trophy of Mother Brain. No Ridley, no indication of his role in the game, etc.

Well...Mickey Mouse is in the game.
What?! Why not?!
He's like the most recognizable cartoon character.

...When's his last notable appearance discounting the Epic Mickey games? Those aren't exactly anything but fairly dark(and purposely so).
Not really, he's had a few cartoons here and there.
I just find it surprising they don't add their most famous character.
It's like if Smash Bros didn't have Mario.

Mickey is in the game. As the Fantasia version though.

Either you just misread what you quoted earlier, or...

They added him.

And ah, he's been somewhat relevant with new stuff at least.

There's tons of cartoon characters, honestly. He's up there in notability, but even some old video game characters have shown up with notability too. Sonic is there(and he has an Anime too, in multiple regions no less).

@ PsychoIncarnate PsychoIncarnate : I meant appearances where he's more based around his regular self. I find him too different from his regular appearances in there to count. Regardless, fair point, and I should've been more specific. Apologies.

Hey, it's better than normal Mickey imo.

Actually, the character choices they have in DisInfinity are getting interesting. Although, there are too many Cars and Pirates characters.
Well, they are appeasing to a younger audience. So naturally it would make sense to add in more recent franchises.

But, then again, CN: PTEXL appeased to kids. And the majority came from the 90's-early 2000's.

I have no idea what that is.

And btw it took them forever to add Mickey. So you weren't completely wrong. At first it was just Cars, Pirates, Incredibles, and Toy Story. Not very diverse.

Well...there are only 3 Pirates characters. Jack, Barbossa and Jones. But I agree with the Cars part, 4 is just too much. And they also have too much Incredibles characters with 5.

The reason I bought the game is the same reason I bought Super Smash Bros.

See, I've given up on most Disney game being good.
They just pander to kids. And that's it...

Hehe...I never buy Disney games...this one was an exception.

But to appeal towards older gamers. One of the developers of Disney Infinity said that there's a possibility of them adding Marvel and Star Wars characters in Disney infinity 2 which is rumored to release later this year.

The only one I can remember form the top of my head that was any good was DuckTales Remastered.
But then again, most games that WayFoward makes are great.

Eh, I'll put it this way.
If I want to play as Marvel characters, I'd play MvC.

By the way...
Has anyone seen that movie called The Lone Ranger?
I watched it and I don't understand the hate the movie gets.
Yes it's not as good as the pirates franchise.
Yes the story gets interupted.
But it's not a bad movie.

Well the difference is Incredibles is awesome and also the movie is about the team/family so it would be wrong to have, say, Mr. Incredible and Syndrome and not anyone else. In all honesty, I'm disappointed there's no Frozone.
But they should've kept cars at Lightning and Mater. If I wanted toy cars I'd go play Matchbox.
They should have more classic Disney characters.

I'd want to play as stitch.

He's one of my favorite disney characters, I even have a statue of stitch wearing an Elvis costume playing the ukelele

You've got a point with the Incredibles. The biggest complain about the game I have is that some characters don't have any playsets/adventuremodes. Out of the six playsets four are from Pixar movies. I'd rather want a Wreck-It Ralph or Frozen playset.

I have.
It's "okay" at best, Though I can tell the issues with the movie.

1. The main character is completely useless aside from the last half. And most of the time he's complaining.

2. Like you've said. The story can be very choppy at times. With it constantly switching from one viewpoint, to another, and now we're back to the kid, then the girlfriend. Speaking of which.

3. I felt that they had a good idea with the train. And had a unique conflict. Would we rather sacrifice our peace with the Natives just to progress?
But then they just throw it out the window and decide to have a "apparently I'm evil now" shtick.

4. Might as well say this. Johnny Depp as an Indian. Though admittedly, you know it's bad when he's the only likable main character.
If anything, if we look past the concept. He had personality, wit, and, what apparently the protagonist needed, guts...

5. The climax. I felt it was too "cheesy". Now, I don't mind cheese. Heck if anything I love it. And don't get me wrong it had it's fun moments.
It's just everything else before it was all dark and gritty. It just felt like pandering to the kids...
...And mind you this was a PG-13 movie.

6. The chiches. Mind you, it had some ideas. But it was note for note. The unlikely protagonist. The witty sidekick/mentor. The evil guy who wants to take over.
The girlfriend who's supposed to be over her but ends up getting together with him. The chosen one. The "I can't do this anymore!" scene. I could go on.

Heck, even the original ideas we're thrown out just to follow again (like the train conflict I said above).

But, that's just me...
