Pokémon Platinum is probably my favorite Pokémon because nostalgic bias and battle factory. Diamond may have been the first Pokémon game I played, but Platinum just felt better in every way.

I should probably look out for cars now.

The story is also even more over the top than Diamond and Pearl's was, I still don't see why I have to save the world on my way to become the Pokémon champion, if they want me to do anything more than get rid of a nasty team make it the focus of the game, just like B&W did.

If that's what you think about the games, I respect that. I know a lot of people didn't like Sinnoh. Flareon was always bad, even if it got Flare Blitz. Houndoom at least got a Mega Evolution. If it doesn't Mega Evolve, it's kinda weak.
Hoenn's Elite Four was overleveled, that I can agree with you. If the player gets the EXP. Share earlier in the game, it would help them to beat the Elite Four in an easy way. That is, if the EXP. Share works like in X/Y.
Now, since we're talking about Gen 4, were HeartGold and SoulSilver slow games?

But you gotta wonder. How does one get as many likes with the least amount of posts? Whoever has the most likes with the least posts wins. I think @shrooby is in the lead.

Even though likes don't mean anything.

And neither does post count.

@ Substitution Substitution Man nuzlocke challenges are fun, I did an emerald run that way, got a Ralts in that route, got super hyped, then it was promptly critical'd to death, fun times man, fun times.

Electric-types? Lol, most of the time I ended up using Jolteon since you get it at an earlier part of the game. If you didn't chose Turtwig, at least Budew was there in earlier Routes, but then if you didn't use Piplup you would have to use stuff like Vaporeon.

I don't know, Platinum is together with Crystal (but the main events of that game are in HG/SS) the only main Pokémon game I've never played.

They were faster than D/P, that's for sure.

I farm Likes to elevate my perceived social standing.

As you can tell from my Post-Like ratio, I've gotten pretty good at it.

LOL, that's what it is. Every single time I go there to lurk, every user in there is thinking of having a "chatroom" to celebrate a "wedding". Is that funny? That HyperSonic user is always defending the site's admin.

It's called vStream. Most channels in there are set on private because they can't get over the fact that trolls will still be on these alternatives even if they get banned. There's also ZippCast but that site doesn't have private channels. The site's URL is called vStreamers.

That would really be something. They've already proven that they can make these new Marvel Cinematic Universe movies REALLY good, so this movie could also be really good. DC Comics usually can't even be bothered to make a movie that doesn't involve Batman and when they do it's mixed reception at best (lest it's animated of course, those still seem to be good), meanwhile Marvel taking Howard the Duck and making a good movie out of him? THAT... would be a weird world to live in. "Howard the Duck is good, Justice League mixed at best"... once that becomes the headlines, I think I'll have seen everything.

I think I gave Super Smash Flash 2 a bad rap without playing much of it. I played a lot of it when I was younger and enjoyed it, but growing up and seeing a lot of stupid character choices turned me away. However, after trying it out now, I really am addicted to the fast and fun gameplay (though I get a few slowdowns and hiccups here and there) and turbo mode feels really great.

To be honest, the only Nuzlocke I've ever had any real difficultly with was my Nuzlocke run for Pokemon Diamond where half my final team died on the Elite Four, including my starter (Lucia's Bronzong and Cynthia's Garchomp are goofy hard to take down). When I do Nuzlockes, I throw in a bunch of others rules to make it more difficult.

1. A pokemon can only use it's natural moves it learns from leveling up. TMs are not allowed until the Elite Four. HMs are okay.
2. You're not allowed to leave a route/gym/cave/whatever until you've beaten all the trainers in it.
3. You have to use a different Pokemon for each Pokemon a gym leader/Elite Four member/your rival uses; no switch outs.
4. After the second gym, no two Pokemon on your team should have the same primary type.

I just hope they structure the story a little better I love almost everything about the story but that last half of the game could of used something much more then it got. Having to repeat the same sections of the game to relight the crystal so many times was rather jarring.

Wow. I might actually start caring again.

Not that a game has to be hard for it to be fun. But when it comes to RPGs, I like to keep the noggin engaged. Etrian Odyssey and other games styled after classic RPGs are my sort of thing.

@ Soul. Soul. Like I said before, ZippCast (I work for them, actually) neither vStream will succeed. I mean, those alternatives will get shut down in just a matter of time, so why spend a lot of time there? Besides, YouTube has lots of content, no matter if it has the bad homepage / channel layout.

Just spent my cart-pushing earnings on Link Between Worlds because of how expensive Madoka is.

Also, has anyone noticed that the Nintendo White controller on Amazon is $35, but the Smash controller is only $30? Why not wait?
