You know who I hope gets deconfirmed? An Idolm@ster character. I know they aren't going to be in the game, but since they are a big IP of Namco, I hope the get a trophy. That'd be awesome to have at least that in Smash. Or IdolM@ster Music on the Pac-Man Stage... then I'd actually play on it.

I honestly want Wario confirmed ASAP. We know he's in the game. Everyone's expecting him. I imagine his reveal will be met with lots of "It's about times." Just confirm him and have done with it.

Rhythm Heaven only has two games i wouldn't think it be that big of hit sure it was nice tapping game but as rep for smash? that's just odd like i said then he'd be a borrow character which borrows moves from other game attractions from rhythm heaven and to be honest i didn't all like ds version to begin with it was kinda fun but got boring real quick

The series is also pretty big in Japan from what I've heard, but that's beside the point.

Ice Climbers have only one game, R.O.B. two. Mr. Game & Watch isn't even a real Game & Watch character. The amount of games a franchise has isn't relevant.

Classical like i said Ness grew from nes and snes so he makes it in obviously fair especially since the game Earthbound aka Mother 2 was well renowned over different countries

Rhythm Heaven has the same amount of games as Kid Icarus and Mother.
Heck, in the case of Mother, two of them never even officially made it overseas, unlike Rhythm Heaven which has only one.

Not that it even makes a lick of difference to me personally. I'm sure I'll enjoy playing as Chorus Kids regardless of what series they're from.

Critically, yes. Commercially, no. EarthBound was a massive sales flop when it was first released despite receiving critical praise. Ness, and the MOTHER series as a whole are only well known outside of Japan due to getting exposure from being in Smash Bros.
