oh yeah that none of his games are canon hes a minor main protagonist so he still dosen't effect the game barely if anything after minish cap he dosen't seem make any appearances after that so yeah he's a support character unless most his moves consist of him dancing or going up into a ballon idk if he's going be alot of attention grabber im pretty sure thats why he was assist in brawl

well sorry i'm not really angry what he says to defend or say make since for those character of the matter and if you read other part of what i was saying that it sucks shes a villian character but in a wario game isn't all that characters villians including wario?

Why does canon matter? I hardly think it's an issue.

Not to mention Twilight Princess Link fighting Wind Waker Link.

Also, considering the Zelda timeline follows Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and the Triforce, Tingle's adventure to build a tower with money and access a paradise called Rupeeland won't exactly be acknowledged, as the events happen soon after Tingle becomes what he is today: a green-clothed middle-age man who lives to collect Rupees.

The Wario series has become a spin-off of the Mario franchise, much in the same way that the Tingle games have become a spin-off of the Zelda franchise.

But even so, Wario is still a Mario character, and Tingle is still a Zelda character.

Canonicity has little to no bearing on whether Tingle is included in Smash or not. Factors that are more worthy of one's attention include series prominence/relevance/importance, viability as a fighter, uniqueness value, and whether Tingle is the most deserving/probable Zelda(/Tingle) Newcomer.

EDIT: It also occurs to me that Tingle has high Smash attendance as far as Zelda characters go - he was a stage element in Melee and an Assist Trophy in Brawl.

Or just a gun user as shown in the Comic that came with the first F-Zero game. He's actually portrayed far more realistically in the Anime according to what was available at the time. Also, Falcon Punch became canon to the games a bit later in GX which mentioned it. I forget if it was before or after the Anime though.

You're kinda grasping at straws. Tingle was upgraded to Assist Trophy from Stage Element. That's an improvement.

And Little Mac proves that Assist Trophies can become playable.

What Tingle does in relation to Link and Zelda is support, yes. But you can't ignore that he has his own games, full of their own enemies and objectives.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm simply trying to say that he could be playable.

By no means do I support Tingle as much as Mewtwo, Ridley, and Palutena, but saying he's only ever been a support character and arguing about canon in Smash Bros. is kinda ignorant IMO.

And I miss him to this day. At least one of his costumes made it over to Pikachu. And you do need a Pichu in order to legitimately learn Volt Tackle. I feel like his spirit is somewhat in the game. Also, his damage "gimmick" is made into a good thing with Lucario, more feeling like his spirit is kept in some way.

I am grasping at straws, of course. I know he's not in the game. Minus a Trophy, of course. But they didn't completely erase his influence, IMO.
