One of my faves for sure.

I've only played one: Ever17. And I loved it.

I'm planning to play Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni someday.

EDIT: I'm ashamed I forgot Ace Attorney.
I've heard of Ever17. I might check it out.

I've played a couple and followed some by video.

And Blazblue is basically a Fighting Game/Visual Novel/JRPG so I'm gonna say that counts. XD
Hm Blazblue seems cool. I might check it out.

I've played through Clannad, Little Busters, Rewrite, Otoboku, Daganronpa (1, I preordered 2 which comes out in September), and Ace Attorney (All but Investigations 2 which I'm working on).

Out of the multiple ending ones I've played (The first four) I've only cleared one route in Otoboku and Clannad, but I've played every route of Little Busters (except one I skipped because I didn't like the anime version I saw beforehand) and am on the final route of Rewrite.

Chaos;Head, Air, Cross-Channel, Ikikoi, Kanon, Memoria, Muv-Luv, Planetarian, To You of the Future, and Tomoyo After are all on my laptop, and I plan on playing them once I go to college.

Okay, let me set you off in the right direction then.

If you're going into Blazblue for the story and are just starting out, do NOT, I repeat, do NOT get Calamity Trigger or Continuum Shift.

Get Continuum Shift: Extend.

It has the first game's story completely rewritten as "Calamity Trigger: Reconstruction", thus retconning the first game. You should start here in the story mode, though it's gonna be very long.

After that, tackle all of the Continuum Shift stories which are separate character stories. The goal is to get to everyone's real ending and unlock the game's True End. If you got to either a Gag Reel/Joke End (Which is pretty damn obvious just form what happens in them) or an Alternative End/Bad End, you'll know because the game will bring up the phrase "One of the many possibilities...of the Continuum Shift." versus their real ends where it says the name of the character and their story name and END in the bototm right corner.

After you clear CSEX's story, then just go straight to Chronophantasma.

Hmm real endings. I should be able to do that. Especially after all the Visual novels I've played, I clearly am:

The god of conquest.

I've yet to watch season 3. I watched the dub since I love Luci Christian who plays Elsie.

Plus, you are a Kitty Corp user correct? We even have more in common!
One of the original and oldest members, in fact. That was back when I still went by "Wave Kusanagi", though.

Even now, the main thing I'm known for is either being "That cool guy who made the Onslaught Falcon and MAX Onslaught movesets" or "That asshole who made the original Hyper Sonic and Sonic the Hedgehog: Full Throttle movesets". XD

I haven't heard TWGOK dubbed yet but I don't think it's one they could really mess up. Overall, how did you think it sounded?

The dub doesn't sound to bad, but I haven't compared it to the original. I almost always watch the dub if it exists though. If you've heard Soul Eater's dub Keima is voiced by the guy who plays the Keishen (might've spelled that wrong). I do like most of the characters voices though, but usually one prefers to the version they hear first. I'm always like that except for Danganronpa. The dub of that felt more fitting for the game for almost all the characters.

Kisshin is how you spell it. No biggie. :3

I haven't watched Soul Eater in English because I honestly didn't like how it sounded in the first few episodes.

Well, to be precise, everything was fine until Black Star opened his mouth...If he still was a guy at that point, anyone, cause he sure didn't sound like one. ¦D

And yeah, the English cast for Dang Ropes took me a minute to get used to, but once I did, it was all perfect. I'm hoping the second game sounds just as good in English because they're gonna REALLY need it for some of the stuff that happens later.

Particularly for Komaeda. If they mess him up, they might as well fall it a failure.

Most if not all of the cast of Danganronpa 2 has been revealed. Including Johnny Yong Bosh, Wendee Lee, Todd Haberkorn, and Christine Cabanos.

As for Brittney Karbowski playing Black Star, yes I agree I didn't like that either, but I got used to it. What I didn't like about the sub was Maka's voice for some reason. Maybe just because I like Laura Bailey (voice of Lucina).

Wait wait, pause!

Laura Bailey voices Lucina!? D:

Welp, that explains why I'm naturally inclined to like her so much. She shares the English voice with my top favorite Sonic character, Blaze. Plus the Female Mewtwo from the (Absolutely horrible) Genesect movie and...Well, the extremely long list of characters she's voiced that Iike.

No wonder I liked Maka's English voice so much...Though it helps that I didn't care for her Japanese voice much at all. It often felt very odd and off-key.

Back to Dang Ropes 2 for a moment, Johnny Yong Bosh and Wendee Lee? Should've expected that but it's good to hear.

She voices Blaze too?! I knew she voiced Lucina, but not Blaze! That's awesome, those are, like, two of my three favorite female protagonists.

Yes, I'm quite sure that Lucina is Laura Bailey. I also like Robin's female voice because she voices Yoko Littner!

Yes I think it's

Hajime - Johnny Young Bosh
Komaeda - Bryce Papenbrook (Naegi's Voice)
Gundum is Chris Sabbat I think
Akane - Wendee Lee
Kazuchi - Kyle Herbert
Teruteru - Todd Haberkorn (Death the Kid's Voice)
Hiyoko - Christine M Cabanos

Have you played DR2 before? I haven't seen anything from it, so I'm excited to get in September. I bought 2 limited editions. One to keep, and one to hopefully get my money back.

Ah, so I see they're doing the same thing for Komaeda in English that they did for him in Japanese. I hope it works out just as well.

And Kyle Hebert (It's Hebert by the way) is gonna voice Souda!? Oh GOD is that gonna be hilarious! XD

Anywho, I haven't played it for myself but I did watch through the entire story already. If you thought the first game got wild at the end, trust me when I tell you this:

The first game was all nothing more than a prologue. You haven't seen ANYTHING yet.

Elsie is Nagisa from Clannad. If you've seen that english dub. I believe Keima is the same person that does ALL MALE PROTAGONISTS LATELY!!!! I kinda hate it... He's alright. But I didn't really care for his Kirito and Eren... Eh.... I have no clue on names. Other than the greatest english dubber ever. Crispin Freeman.

Higurashi is amazing. The anime anyways. I don't do VN's

But as soon as the Angel Beats VN sub comes out I'll be jumping on that bandwagon for sure.

Fair enough. Season 2 and most of 3 didn't do the comics justice honestly.
From what I understand, that seems to be the case. There are too many characters to keep track of Season 2 on, imo. It leaves less of an impact when something happens to them. If they want a powerful show/cast they should make the seasons shorter like the first and kill off important, developed characters sooner.

I mean, I verified it, mostly because I wanted to make sure she was the current VA.
Though "current" doesn't mean much for Blaze...:(

People be talking about new school anime dubs, and I'm just sitting here awaiting the new redub of old school Sailor Moon by Viz.
The fact that Stephanie Sheh (Sailor Moon) and Cherami Leigh (Salior Venus) voice characters in this, it makes me want to watch it,

http://www.behindthevoiceactors.com/characters/Sonic-The-Hedgehog/Blaze-the-Cat/

Yup, she's been voicing Blaze starting from 2010 to now.

Yeah I fixed that, probably after you hit the quote button. And yeah, I can't wait. While looking up the VAs I did find 1 spoiler which I'm kind of mad about. But I don't think it's a big deal.

Honestly, I can't think of anything better than having an Ace Attorney game come out in August (even though its a crossover) a Danganronpa game in September, and Smash in October the lineup is perfect!

Elsie is Nagisa from Clannad. If you've seen that english dub. I believe Keima is the same person that does ALL MALE PROTAGONISTS LATELY!!!! I kinda hate it... He's alright. Luci Chrisitian (Nagisa) is a big reason why I watched TWGOK dub. Keima's VA also plays Yuuichi in Kanon if you've seen that.

He IS NOT however the one who voices Kirito and Eren. That is Bryce Papenbrook the voice of Rin in Bue Exorcist.

I too cannot wait for the Angel Beats VN. You should play Rewrite. It's by Key who made Clannad, Angel Beats, Kanon, Air, and Little Busters, but isn't an Anime. I'm almost finished with it and I really like it.

Nah season 2 sucked cause they were stuck on the farm for 13 episodes and only a couple left the farm, plus the writing for the characters was not beleiveable as they did **** no human in their right mind would do.

The World Ends With You was such a good game. The best game I've ever played imo. Still a shame Square-Enix trolled the entire fanbase with their timer countdown, only to reveal an iOs port of the game.
It'd definitely the best game on the DS and is in my top 10 games list. The only thing I would say bad about the game is that the controls could have been done better, but once you get use to them they become fine. Other then that the game is perfect.

And it's one of the few games where I actually care about the music. I still don't like how Psychedelic wasn;t in the US version.

Also, I was wondering if anyone here plays Visual Novels.
I've played 999:Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and it's sequel Virtue's Last Reward and own both of them as well. And I love both games to death. However I haven't played any other VNs other then those 2.

I agree that TWEWY is the best game on the DS. When I first saw the character designs, I was obsessed with getting the game. But, since I was 11 or 12 at the time, and my parents followed ESRB, I had to wait a bit. I eventually got it for Christmas and beat it in 2 or 3 days. I then replayed it right after that. It is the ONLY game I've ever done that with before. I still haven't done all the post game missions however. I need to do that one day.

I want to play 999 and it's sequel, they seem interesting. I have a huge backlog to work on once I finish Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Path. But maybe after all of that, I'll give them a try.

Yea. I've seen a lot of voices around. (Like Luci Christian) and I never really pick out who they belong too.

Keima's is Yuuichi? I guess that's what I get for just watching the 5 minutes of the dub last year just to know what it sounded like. lol
Only after finishing the third season. I think the manga is ending soon or has ended idk.

I've seen all of Key's anime. I'm waiting until Little Busters EX ends in a couple days to watch that. I'll wait for Rewrite to come out (whenever that will be) as an anime.

I was actually going to get the VN by Key in english thats on the app store. Its about some kind of robot girl. But when I saw that there's no "decision making" I figured. Nah.
