come on no wammy lets seee some lobbys! At this point we really need some news about game modes. It's been 8 months and a half and we still got nothing about that.
Psh, no. I prefer no reminiscing of cut characters, if anything. It leading to blaming or disdain for other characters that succeeded them like your Lucario and Mewtwo example kinda justifies that. Am I supposed to like that someone thought it was clever to bring up Pichu just because another Pikachu esque Pokemon got deconfirmed? You prefer Mewtwo reminiscing? Keeping in mind the whole "Lucario replaced/disconfirms him" headache.
Why would a Non-Nintendo game be celebrated for a Smash 4 reveal? Plus Big Boss/Naked Snake (in that game but not in Brawl) & Solid Snake (not in that game but in Brawl) are two different people.By the freakin' way.
MGS: Ground Zeroes releases in Japan on march 20th...then we will see if the legendary soldier will be playable in the best WiiU game of 2014. And 3DS, don't forget 3DS.
I do know the difference between Big Boss and Solid Snake. But may I remind you that TP Zelda was revealed with the release of ALBW while it's totally a different Zelda. Why would a Non-Nintendo game be celebrated for a Smash 4 reveal? But at least Zelda can say she was in the game...I do know the difference between Big Boss and Solid Snake. But may I remind you that TP Zelda was revealed with the release of ALBW while it's totally a different Zelda.
Yes, but MGS: Ground Zeroes is not going to convince people to buy a Wii U or Nintendo 3DS. Sonic works because Lost Worlds is a Nintendo systems exclusive and that Nintendo was helping with the game.I do know the difference between Big Boss and Solid Snake. I have a better idea.Yes, but MGS: Ground Zeroes is not going to convince people to buy a Wii U or Nintendo 3DS. Sonic works because Lost Worlds is a Nintendo systems exclusive and that Nintendo was helping with the game.
December 22, 1987 (Japan)I have a better idea.
...Does anyone know when Metal Gear appeared on the NES?
So, June at best?December 22, 1987 (Japan)
June 1988 (US)
"1998" (Europe)

The day Snake (hopefully) returns to Smash will be a glorious day. We're likely to see Snake on a Nintendo Direct moreso than a random reveal, because he's a third party and all.
I'd love to see that too... but, what are his odds? Like, 70/100?The day Snake (hopefully) returns to Smash will be a glorious day.

Possibly. I mean, it's really down to two factors:I'd love to see that too... but, what are his odds? Like, 70/100?
That's actually what I meant. Plus a trailer would be great. We're likely to see Snake on a Nintendo Direct moreso than a random reveal, because he's a third party and all.
And to be fair, Metal Gear wasn't first on the NES. It was on the MSX.Possibly. I mean, it's really down to two factors:
-Does Nintendo still want to partner with a company that has focused mostly on the 3DS only Nintendo-wise with a small handful of titles and appears to primarily produce their titles on other systems?
-Does Konami want to still have Snake in a game that isn't on their usual consoles of choice?
It's not really just Kojima this time; Konami has made some comments and marks about the Wii U & Nintendo that show that they do not like the system as a whole, consider it a practical joke, and that they don't plan to produce their big titles on it at all.
The version that Koji outright bashed. And to be fair, Metal Gear was on the NES.
Whoops. Hold on.The version that Koji outright bashed.
Similarly, ditto for Nintendo. They are the ones that would have to pay for licensing of the character on the game, and with Konami's relationship with them currently that can be trouble. So really, Snake comes down to them saying yes or no, I'm sure Sakurai will ask though.Possibly. I mean, it's really down to two factors:

Let's just put it this way: Kojima wanted to jump on the bandwagon of Brawl, and may or may not want to do the same. It's more of just free marketing as opposed to a liking of Nintendo, I guess. The version that Koji outright bashed.
Actually it was on MSX first unless your talking bout Nintendo to playstaiton Metal Gear games.Whoops. Hold on.
Edited.
I meant to say "first". But you're right as well.
...Sorry, I'm having a brainfart.Actually it was on MSX first unless your talking bout Nintendo to playstaiton Metal Gear games.
lol...Sorry, I'm having a brainfart.
Well, it was more of a friend (Kojima) knew a friend (Sakurai) of which couldn't put him in when Melee came out (time constraints). So Snake was delayed till Brawl.Let's just put it this way: Kojima wanted to jump on the bandwagon of Brawl, and may or may not want to do the same. You see, this is what happens when you try to eat while typing.
Ah, I see. That makes some sense.Well, it was more of a friend (Kojima) knew a friend (Sakurai) of which couldn't put him in when Melee came out (time constraints). So Snake was delayed till Brawl.
The thing is a lot of people put the priority third party, Kojima card for thinking Snake is returning, but if you look at Konami and Nintendo's history as of late, signs point to an unlikely return. Kojima is a big force, but Konami's heads are bigger. That's why I've cut him on my prediction rosters for now.I really doubt Snake's chances now.
