While Capcom was great back in the day, they haven't own Shantae in YEARS (the Virtual Console release of that game removes all references of Capcom).

Some asked why the boards have been quiet and where some people went. For me, I've been playing more Monster Hunter. Plus honestly, I've been trying to hide from this Smash Ballot thing mainly because I consider it "Smash Roster Speculation Chaos 3.0" (Brawl was 1.0, and Smash 4 was 2.0), except it may be even worse, and I've been trying to hide from the conflicts that it can create.

Even if I wanted to do a vote, it woulda been for a character that has no chance of being playable because she's an Assist Trophy. *points to Phosphora*

Sigh, she coulda brought something new to the table IMO.

Honestly I don't like him. He's good as a villain, but NOT for a playable character, let alone how large he is. I do admit I do want to see more playable villains though, but another franchise would fit for that... whatever that be.

Still, my thought for Phosphora woulda been nearly perfect, and I had many plans played out for her, I think. Sigh, but at least I got Palutena already, and that's better than nothing.

I don't see how a Fire Emblem/Shin Megami crossover will work. Shin characters are just simply MUCH more powerful than any Fire Emblem characters. Yeah, Fire Emblem characters have "gods" (really strong dragons), but Shin characters literally kill incarnations of Yahweh, who himself has multiversal power. They're really gonna have to buff up any Fire Emblem characters that appear.
