I do normally play without items. Weird thing is, I was winning a fair bit earlier in For Glory.

I will say I've been trying to use Smash attacks less. More than a few of those were tilts I ****ed up on honestly. Still, I know I've got a fair bit to go as far as practice. What I really want to do is work on my Leaf Shield and Throws.

Here's the thing with FG : it doesn't make you progress a lot. In fact, it doesn't make the player progress after a while. It's mostly due to the stages that are all the same. While in reality, Final Destination isn't really played a lot.

Here's a site where you can find matches and progress at the same time : Smash Ladder. It makes you play with similar rules as tourneys (not like the next EVO though). You have more stages to choose, thus you will progress a lot more. And, there's a chat for communication. It's really good for anyone who wants to progress.

Train well dude, MegaMan has a lot of potential.

For Glory is infested with tryhard noobs that only post in Miiverse. Of course you wouldn't progress a lot with that abomination of a mode.
