I found GIMP to be easier to do pixel art than photoshop, but photoshop better overall...

Mostly because photoshop blurs pixels by default or something

Well I've basically become much more pessimistic/realistic with amiibos, or at least more so than I was, and greatly reduced the ones I'm looking for.

That bottom portion of the list still scares me.

Really? Even my family forgets my birthday...only reason I get birthday wishes is because people see it on Facebook...I haven't really celebrated my birthday in a long time. During college years it was during winter break, so I had to remind my family. Then my mom tells me to go buy my own cake. My last birthday wasn't even really celebrated at all. You can buy a Wacom Intuos. You know, the new ones. Not the Pro version.
If you want to go cheap, go for something like the Bamboo Splash / Connect.
