Decided to play some matches on SSB Crusade as Ryu, just for fun and if the Ryu data on the 3DS update actually means anything.

Can see it working in Smash, but let's see.

Cranky wouldn't be a terrible character choice. But I'm a bit lost on what he'd do besides the Cane Jump and beating you with said cane. Maybe he can actually throw barrels in his normal moveset or something.

And he doesn't tolerate casual players. At all.

@ Yomi's Biggest Fan Yomi's Biggest Fan knows.
That is true since back in his days games were legitimately challenging and you would have to buy guides in order to beat them. Just ask guys like The Angry Video Game Nerd and his hellish experiences with Ghosts n' Goblins for example.

Though nowadays (with the exception of select RPG's), Nintendo's games had gotten much easier in comparison to the days of old. Look me in the eye and tell me that the average New Super Mario Bros. game is much easier in comparison to Super Mario Bros. 3 (Or the first game to a lesser extent).

Why does the Eshop need to have a $10 minimum if you want to buy a $0.75 thing? I will crunch the person who thought that was a good idea.

inb4 New DLC character is a floating CD with "All-Stars Rest Area" crudely written with permanent marker.
Would main at first sight.

Someone needs to make a game that intentionally has the worst, most aggravating control mechanics ever. Slow jumps where you can't change direction like in Castlevania, terrible weapon throwing and instant death like in NES Dragon's Lair, annoying enemies that block your way, etc.

I've always wanted to make a game where every (set amount of time) the controls shuffle

And don't forget the troll ending in which you have to beat the entire game all over again at an even higher difficulty.

And yeah, Capcom had been trolling before it was cool.

fun fact: I suck so much at this series of platformer that I suck at BOTH smw AND nsmbwii.

No, I;m not kidding, but I don;t suck at spm because rpg stuff.

I prefer this over 3DS/Wii U and Brawl's All-Star Rest Area songs. Renditions of the game's main theme sickened me so much that I eventually began to have problems on my right ear in November, causing everything to go high-pitched. The left ear worked fine.

I pretty much play Smash 3DS mute now.

Ow, the edge.
Why does that font look similar to the one found in Rayman 2: The Over-Ported Escape?

Gotta say, it's nice how no one is even pretending to tolerate "relevance" as an argument. It's really refreshing, especially when it has no bearing whatsoever on how enjoyable a character would actually be in the game.

I think it's worth noting how far and away the two biggest first party ballot requests in K. Rool and Isaac were the two biggest targets of "relevance" fanatics before release and the ballot's launch. I can't help but wonder whether that is playing a role in them performing so well...like, all of the militant users informing everyone "You're gonna eat your Inkling/Captain Toad/Dixie/Chorus Kids veggies, and you're gonna like them!" and everyone collectively shrugging and going "NOPE! K. Isaac time!"

No offense to those characters' fans, but it was really annoying when the community at large treated them as the only viable options, and anyone requesting anyone else as a fool. You still see it among various subsections of fans..."Oh, your character may win the ballot, but this character is relevant and/or a piece of remnant data! You dummies aren't affecting anything because they already have a list planned!"

I had to make a new icon, I couldn't help it
I was thoroughly surprised.
Usually those events cater to Xbox and Sony, so seeing Mario Kart win the reward was a breath of fresh air.
The audience seemed to be happy about that too.

Not sure how the xbox and sony fanboys reacted

(Phew. That was a nice Tae Bo workout session. Can't wait for more)

So get this! For an assignment, I had to create a list of bull **** names for a phony database, then create fake company names and false street names, so I'm pretty bummed out. Would've been a lot easier if they actually had names required for us to use, but they just HAD to make me overuse my imagination.

Didn't know that. :troll:
I wonder if Rayman 2 beat Pac-Man (the original) and Space Invaders as Most Ported Game in Existance.
The first Rayman had a lot of different versions as well.

Jaguar, PC, Playstation, GBA... Can't think of others, but there was also the GBC version, although it wasn't exactly a port.

And to this day, I still don't think that any Rhythm Heaven character will be highly requested and they would probably have to wait until the next game. Just thinking realistically since they still have the reputation of "LOL Gematsu bandwagoners are still in denial" based on what I've seen outside of Smashboards. Which is such a game since many tracks from the RH series are dying to have that well deserved Smash 4 remix.
