The first Rayman had a lot of different versions as well.

Jaguar, PC, Playstation, GBA... Can't think of others, but there was also the GBC version, although it wasn't exactly a port.

And to this day, I still don't think that any Rhythm Heaven character will be highly requested and they would probably have to wait until the next game. Just thinking realistically since they still have the reputation of "LOL Gamatsu bandwagons are still in denial" based on what I've seen outside of Smashboards. Which is such a game since many tracks from the RH series are dying to have that well deserved Smash 4 remix.

As a fan of the Chorus Kids, I too, sadly, think this as well.

They're bound to not be as highly requested since so many ignorantly assume them to be a bandwagon- or denial-only character choice, leading to lower numbers. And since what kept them out was likely a technical issue, they'll probably have to sit out until hardware improves. :/

My dream regarding Smash 5/6 or whatever is to make another handheld version to see the imminent disappointment; I'll be glad myself given Smash 3DS is a success.

I would laugh if a RH rep actually appeared in DLC and all of those who believe it's not going to happen eat their words. It's almost like having a POW Block nearby incase of emergencies

Probably Game & Watch using various minigame weapons to attack and a rhythm based gimmick that allows you to get stronger from the beat. But it's really hard to tell since there's the three of them together instead of one Chorus Kid.

If they really wanted to use a more simpler character, then there's Karate Joe since he's one of the few reoccurring fighters that actually fights. Rhythm Girl wouldn't be bad either since she is practically advertised with a majority of the games in her trademark red dress.

Next handheld is probably going to have power similar to the Wii U, so all that salt will be in vain. I'll be also glad of that too. Handheld Smash 2.0 with prettier graphics even though graphics are **** and gameplay matters more.

You know what? Come to think think of it, Rhythm Heaven does have an unused emblem in the game (or atleast data that references it) I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the Chorus Men are one of the pre-ballot characters being worked on!

I can see them going a few ways. A more hardware-intensive version could involve controlling the three simultaneously in order to launch foes across the stage and into another attack for widespread hitboxes hit in rhythm.

A less hardware intensive version would have all three share a hitbox by standing close together. However, their moves would all have their own separate hurtboxes, where if you pressed the attack buttons three times, for example, the hurtbox would be adjusted to the third Chorus Kid. Longer combo strings would be the reward for keeping the rhythm going.



Something like that. It's hard to put into words but I have the idea in my head. Hope it made sense.
