Couldn't get into One Piece myself. Started reading it and I ended up stopping after a couple volumes.

Naruto I can stand in short increments, but man do those filler episodes need to stop. Just end the series already and why does a Boruto movie need to be a thing?

Dragonball is overrated, but it's fun for childhood nostalgia. The new movies have a been pretty hype.

Bleach I've heard is full of problems that plague the former 3 but to a greater extent.

I wonder if there will be more news for Ow the Edge: The Video Game (or Hatred for short). I still find it funny that's it's the first video game in a while that is rated AO for extreme violence and torture.

I really don't see how is it any worse than your average Resident Evil or Mortal Kombat game. Those games had strong violence as well while they think that a murder simulator like Hatred deserves a higher rating.

I wonder if there will be more news for Ow the Edge: The Video Game (or Hatred for short). I still find it funny that's it's the first video game in a while that is rated AO for extreme violence and torture.

I really don't see how is it any worse than your average Resident Evil or Mortal Kombat game. Those games had strong violence as well while they think that a murder simulator like Hatred deserves a higher rating.

Just Googled that game. The edge is too strong.

What I liked about Aldnoah.Zero is how it portrays a war somewhat more realistically than most shows do, which reminded me of Fire Emblem. There's no clear good or bad side. Both are presented with justified motivations, but are also flawed (and sometimes cripplingly so). One is far more sympathetic than the other, though.

A nice change of pace is how none of the protagonists was your typical hot-blooded anime hero. You also get to see the story from both sides, as each protagonist is from each side of the war.

And of course, the overlying theme, which can be defined as "human stupidity at its finest", especially considering the reason why the war breaks out.

Oh yeah, and awesome soundtrack. Then again, I expected nothing less from Hiroyuki Sawano.

To be absolutely honest, I don't think it's just the violence, but the CONTEXT of the violence.

I mean, Hatred has you play as a psychopath who kills anyone without any reasonable motivation. It's completely gratuitous.

I say this having watched anime with loads of violence and gore.

I guess we all knew that Death Battle's interpretation of Shadow vs. Vegeta was wrong on many levels. With Guts earning them a new victory, there's far too many anime winners in the league.

I think that's the joke. Sonic needed that change in personality for Sonic X. It's clear to me since they denied Ryan Drummond the role of Sonic in Sonic X and giving it to Jason Griffith who originally auditioned for Chris.

So far, US Sonic voice actors get replaced every five years (look at what happened to Drummond and Griffith) so I wouldn't be surprised if RCS and co. are about to get replaced. Probably not, because of Sonic Boom (the TV show).
