Let me rephrase that.
They can't turn as much. I prefer the arrows that way. While Pit's arrows and their wide turns are cool, the way I play suits me more towards Dark Pit's arrows.
Also, I prefer Electroshock to Upperdash. Diagonal over vertical.
Lucina's playstyle and Marths playstyle are different due to the lack of a tipper on Lucina.
The way I play does not suit me to a tipper at all.
Marth is actually my least favorite character (In terms of playstyle) in Brawl.

You should understand that not everyone here that not everyone here is competitive. I mean, Brawl Ganondorf players exist.

I play Lucina partly because there isn't another female swordfighter in the roster.

You know the more this discussion goes on, the more I'm starting to believe it's all because you really don't like Dark Pit.
So people like or don't like a character, big whoop. I thought we all learned in pre-school that "it's okay to have opinions". But I've been proven wrong.

What! No mention about clones? Or is it #4? I'm not speaking about my personal view of clones, as I love the addition of clones (I just don't like how one of them feels like a nerfed Marth), but a lot of people complained about them.

That's also true. I am a casual player before I am a competitive player after all.
But even speaking both ways, Lucina and DP are better IMO.

One of the reasons for me to drop the unreasonable clone hate. Aside from Ganondorf, all clones actually make sense to be similar to their base characters.

Ganondorf is a bit more sketchy, given the reasoning for his cloned moveset is more based on technicalities rather than character similarities, but I don't mind his current moveset, as it already reflects a lot of his personality with the changes given to Falcon's moveset. I've noticed some details in his cloned moveset that I doubt anyone who doesn't know Ganondorf well enough would have come up with them.

In fact, Smash remains rather tame in regards to clones. How many clones does Ryu have in SF4, anyway?

From memory, I can name Ken, Akuma, Dan, Sakura, Gouken, Evil Ryu and Oni. 7 clones! Sure, they all play differently, but still. Mind that SF4 around 44 characters. Smash 4 has LESS clones in a roster of 53 characters (counting DLC)!

There's also a character based around cloning different characters' moves in SF4 and, quite ironically, most SF fans yelled at Decapre being a Cammy clone ONLY because they looked the same. :grin:

There was some discussion about Fire Emblem, possibly because Marth was recently revealed, and someone posted a pic of Chrom in a swimsuit with his booty being shown off.
Venus was currently browsing the thread while at work, and someone noticed the pic and (I think) asked him/her(?) about it.

Venus was a bit annoyed and made a post talking about it, and then joked that he/she(?) would give people warnings.

I don't think you understand. I say de-clones aren't that effective because people just choose who they think is better because of the increased gap, Blargg comes in saying he prefers DP and Lucina (presumably because they're seen as worse), then I stress the point that it comes down to what the individual likes more and that the other might as well not exist for them. And that's clearly true for him too.
