Well, I do find adults playing Pokémon as a weird thing, but I get over it real quick. Unrelated I know. That franchise works with all ages anyway.

I was mixing colors together in photoshop to create their average

and when you mix pure Blue (0/0/255) with Yellow (255/255/0) the average makes Grey (147.5/147.5/147.5)

Mixing blue + yellow (at least by using their RGB averages) makes grey
