I was thinking about suggesting we have a big tournament with everyone here, in Smash Bros or Mario Kart or something, at some point. Just for fun, nothing serious. Just as a way to honor him together.

That's not what she meant. I had a dear adult friend who died about 4 years ago. He was a really funny guy. For a while, we used to repeat his jokes and sing the songs he sang with us in order to remember him.

I fully agree with this. Sm4sh is really fun with items and hazards, and the shenanigans you can pull off with them is absolutely insane. Honestly, this is the side of Sm4sh we should be exploring just as much as the competitive side

I think a fun tournament would be a good idea. The last thing Iwata would want is people to stop having fun with him gone. Having fun playing games is carrying on his legacy and dreams.

Someone I know once said, "The things that bring happiness can also bring sadness and vice versa". For me, it's important to remember all the great things a person has given us. We shouldn't focus on what is gone but what we were lucky enough to be gifted in the first place.
