Of course GameFAQs is being cancerous as usual regarding his death by making stupid jokes. It's one thing to taunt him when he was alive but a whole new level of low to taunt him after his passing.

These people are what we call the scum of the earth.
And what if they die? Now that'd be very funny!

Jesus, they should at least show some respect...

tbh i only mentioned NX because that's something they were developing. whoever thinks "that's the first thing I was thinking of" is a fool (in a meh way). yes.
i don't care what they think.

That's fairly normal. honestly be ready to hear it on any website that isn't nintendo related. :/

This is why that site's boards are genuinely ridiculed and avoided by anyone with common sense. What a group of subhumans.

Yeah, I've seen people making jokes about it. And some people being happy because Nintendo was "on a downward slope"

Like really? Regardless of what you think about the company and their decisions, this is still a person dying at the end of all this. A great one, at that.

This is directed at the people I have seen. Not anyone here.

I've changed my signature in his honor. Doing that obviously isn't much, but I wanted to at least do something.

This fantastic man will be dearly missed.

Even now you can't ****ing let go of yesteday? Get a ****ing clue and grow the **** up and move on. There are always more pressing matters than you constantly wallowing in your own self pity cause I made an 'overrated' joke and obo said you were making a fool out of yourself. Jesus ****ing christ, it's like you were literally baiting people to get into an argument with you all day. No, I'm not apologizing.

Ugh. I'm too emotional right now and my heart should probably not be beating this fast.

It's impressive how one's life can have such an impact on the others.

All those Nintendo Directs where he spoke "directly to us" have narrowed the distance between the president of the company and us fans. The fact the death came so sudden makes it all the more shocking.

I may have never met him, but I have grown to respect him. I'm sure you feel the same.

Damn, this is really sad... :(

I always thought everyone at Nintendo would still live for years. No one at Nintendo deserves to die so soon.

I pray everyone else there will live longer.

Iwata was such a nice guy. Anyone rejoicing over his death, I lose respect for right here.
Seriously, he was really nice. Very positive. This is bumming me out more than I thought it would.
Very unfortunate death. I hope he can be content with everything he's done.

Why am i the one getting drugged?!
because we all know Link loves getting high.

Tbh, I'm not too moved by Iwata's death. It is sad, yes; he was a great man...but I wasn't that attached to him.

I'm not wishing death on anyone when I say this, but 55 still feels too young to die, and I always felt Shigeru Miyamoto would've been one of the first big names to "move on", considering he's 62. This is bizarre.

As long as you can respect him, that's all you need to do, man.

Don't risk any more issues, please. I don't anything bad happening to you either.
You're right. I was holding any response to that situation in today because stupid responses make my temper act up and that's probably not good for my heart condition.

I'll honor the man for a good while in my signature and avatar. I don't recall the last time I cried this hard over the death of a man I've never met.

None of us were. It was the impact he left on Nintendo that cause many to mourn his recent passing. While you may not feel as emotional over his death, many of us grieve for the loss of one of the more notable figures at Nintendo.

Yeah, there are people out there that think more about the product than the creator behind it. The thing is, they end up having less of an appreciation behind the product because of that. The things we have on this Earth were created by human hands. HUMAN. In fact, the reason why there's 7+ billion people on the planet is because people make products like these to give us a reason to enjoy life and to keep living it. Iwata was a person who was PHENOMENAL at doing that. Who care's about "the companies decisions?" Who cares about "Nintendo?" It's just a company, a logo, a word, and by no means does it "create games." The people IN the company do. People like Iwata.

Iwata will go down as a legend. He will be missed.

You know it's a big loss when you realize that the developer interviews won't be called "Iwata Asks".

So, Sakurai has already said his condolence....

http://www.sourcegaming.info/2015/07/12/mr-satoru-iwata-has-passed-away/

.....guys, i am crying now.....
You know, considering how harsh I've seen many people be towards Sakurai for the littlest things or being extremely negative simply because a character they wanted didn't get in.....this actually really strikes me in the feels. Sakurai repeatedly stressed that he was in painful conditions with his arm while working on Sm4sh, but he never stopped.

I'm sorry, truly. I really, really don't want to go on about how inconsiderate some fans can be and all, but considering the situation Sakurai is/was in, to have an employer who truly understood him and his situation so well must've felt really nice. Another fine example of why Iwata was such a fine man....

lol tough guy. Who are you to tell me what to do. You're going to apologize eventually whether you like it or not.
That same anger you have is what I'm having right now. Looks like we can't have a truce. I'm just going to stop this before it gets worse.

I heard about what happened to today and things weren't going well after the fantastic trip I had earlier. While I might not agree with some of the decisions he had done for Nintendo these years, Iwata was truly a passionate guy that worked his hardest to take care of the entire company to this very day. I really wish the best of all condolences to his family and friends.

And the worst part is that the trolls will probably think that his death was the best thing that ever happened to Nintendo like the sick ******** they are. Just you wait, they will come rolling everywhere to bring on the hate as usual despite how depressing these news are. But it's best to ignore such individuals since they are probably the same Pretendos who wished the worst for Nintendo's recent "failures".

Can you please drop this? Now is honestly not the time to reopen old wounds. Whatever he did to you is a mere fraction of the current situation at hand.

I...I just found out about Iwata. Was watching videos and one of the comments mentioned his passing.

I'll miss you and your cute engrish...

To be honest, I'm a bit wary that it might be a troll.

So, I was trying to find a fitting pic, but this is all I came up with since I had to criop it:

....Without him, I might have not enjoyed gaming as much as I do today, to me, Nintendo is promoting games as a form of art that is truly remarkable due to the media.

Iwata clearly knew this.....

I am so sad now :(
