I've got you one beat. My battery inside my Pokemon Gold gameboy cartridge had deteriorated. So I bought a new CR2025 battery, stuck some electrical tape on there, and it's good as new.

The battery of my Gold cartridge is plain ded, but surprisingly my Silver game is alive

It was very easy to replace the battery, and it works perfect. Kind of weird your Silver still works though. Probably because you played your Gold version more then Silver? Not sure.

The only thing I find funny about amiibo is that apparently there will be an amiibo tourney soon, and the losers' amiibo figures will get destroyed

I'm expecting to see only common amiibos, in that case. Besides, no one would be dumb enough to bring a rare/unicorn...right?

CHECKCHECKCHECKCHECKCHECK....... I'm hooked. I'll rewatch the first episode a couple (thousand) more times so that I can absorb what just happened. The creators know how to kick off the show...
