I bought Roy, Ruy and Lucas as soon as I found out they were in the eShop, I'm not even kidding (I still have no interest in getting Mewtwo though)
Hell I may even sub him his ground tilts really feel different than Marth's and his tipper (or rather hilt?) while I find it easier to connect, the sourspot is really horrible
Also I feel that Ryu's QCF DP and QCB should be restricted to the B button

Every Lucina post on miiverse is really well drawn, wowsa.

Think I'm starting to get the hang of how Ryu works. He's actually really fun, and he's got combos for days too.
Also for anyone unaware, you can also cancel his utilts into his specials, not just his dtilts.

(Unless you count Windows Pinball)
Though I'll use all of the other themes too, I'm betting I'll use NSMB and SMB quite a bit, while using SMB3 the least.

So I was playing Iggy as usual, and I noticed that very occasionally, he'll make a sound when he does a full-hop and I really like it. Dunno if it's new in the patch because I've never heard it before.

It's possible Iggy has new sounds. I know for certain Lucina has new sound effects.

If I'm correct, some Koopalings actually had more sounds than others. there were inconsistencies in the Koopaling's sound effects.
I commented about this a few months back.
Maybe they did it to fix that.

What a great day. Came home to download the Smash DLC and find Earthbound Beginnings/Mother 1 released on VC. Such a lovely suprise

It started with v, I think I won that one, I already forgot.
Then there was v, which I won.
The last one was v, which I dun goofed and lost because of it.

On a side note, while playing online, I saw another one who was able to cancel Focus Punch for recovery purposes.

I'm wondering what the score for All-Star mode is even based on. Sometimes I'll finish faster and take less hits, but still have a lower score than when I get beat up a lot and take too long to finish a stage...

It's not incredibly difficult once you get the timing down, but that might just be me since I play other fighting games. You can also cancel it into a backdash and not just a forward one, which is good for baiting out then getting out of range of grabs.
Also a word of advice, you can only cancel the actual punch of the Focus Attack if you land it. You can't cancel the punch if you whiff it.
