I seriously wonder as to why the hell we don't have Earthbound 2 but instead we get Beginnings
I mean really
This generation's so ****ing used to jumpscares, mind trips and curse words that Parents are giving kids FNAF and Mortal Kombat for Christmas (I wish I was kidding) just because it's the "Hip" thing to do
I think we can handle an Earthbound game that fans have been screaming at Nintendo for nearly twice as long as it took to get freaking Earthbound on the VC, meanwhile Lucas and New Pork City are having a dance party in Smash like everyone and their grandma's kitchen sink EXCEPT for Nintendo know who this Blonde Ice Ness is
If you wanna celebrate the anniversary of a popular game, don't just bloody rummage through 30-years worth of scripts just to find Not-Exactly-Earthbound's english script meant for the NES and slap it on, do what the fans have been wanting and give the more relevant guy some time in the sun so some of us can actually know who the hell this "Lucas" guy is and why he's in Smash

I think they're doing it in this order for two reasons:
1. They already had the Mother 1 translated script
2. This way Mother 3 can wrap up a trilogy as it was meant to

Because Earthbound in Japan was Mother 2 so what we got WAS Earthbound 2 technically but it was our first mother game so it was Earthbound

By "Earthbound 2" I meant Mother 3 with EB1 being Ness and EBG being Not-Exactly-Ness (aka Nintendo minus the dough)

I was playing with my younger sibling, a drawing of something that should not be there appeared in the background the first and only time I went on the stage.. I quit out of the game the fastest I have in my life. They need to find a way to censor it.

It's nice to hear Blue Birds as well.
Also, while the Wii Shop remix, nintendo land medley, and MP medley were hacked out before, I don't remember ever seeing that other medley that comes with the Miiverse stage.
So that was a nice surprise!

Manzai Birds was only in the Japanese and European game.
It didn't get to NA because the jokes wouldn't have translated well
