The one on the left is his Melee design, the one on the right is Smash 4.
I'm sure it has been mentioned, but I really like how his Smash 4 design is a combination of his FE6/Melee design and his FE:A design.
Even though I know next to nothing about Roy as a whole.

Im starting to think that all the "lost" characters (Pichu, Wolf, etc.) will come back...

No one knows where did this image come from. I honestly don't mind Young Link coming back. More salt is always good.

Well, I'm off to bed. Already been having a good time in L.A. with my girlfriend, but I'm probably going to oversleep and miss the Smash stream, because I am TIRED!

TBH I wouldn't mind either. For the short time I played Melee, Young Link was my "Main".
It probably would be easier to add a third Link than a new character.
Still though, doubt it will happen.

And I saw that Young Link "trophy". Sorry, but I think that looks extremely fake.

Considering Younk Link's model has been updates its possible.
But Young Zelda, Zelda (OOT) Link (OOT) have all been updated to so... straw grasping.

I wonder what people who play Street Fighter but not Smash feel about Ryu in smash. I think it could be both good and bad.

They have the tendency of hating the latter, claiming it isn't competitive and that kind of stuff. Don't know really.

Then Young Link mains (if any, that is) would get ******* and go Super Saiyan, complaining about him not reusing the old moveset. Then again, it's just an idea you presented, and it would greatly differentiate him from :4link:, which is good.
