It's not wrong though. It's VERY easy to say Ryu is the fighting game character.

Basically when the average person thinks of a fighting game, the two that come to mind are Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Easily the two most well-known of the genre. And I'm sure we can all see why Scorpion isn't gonna be in Smash any time soon.


So yeah, Ryu is the fighting game character.

I mean Roy seems like a semi-clone now at least, since he's still got his Melee B and a new side smash it looks like.
It's like the relationship between Mario, Doc, and Luigi. Mario and Doc are more or less straight clones, while Luigi has some similarities to Mario but so many differences that he's more or less his own character.

Yeah. It does seem like some of his moves got some changed up animations too, like how he holds the sword differently when he uses Blazer.

Either way, I welcome both him and Ryu with open arms.... Especially Roy.

But Kong Cyclone is really THAT broken? I know the move don't get me wrong, i even fight someone who use it and i can see that this move is annoying if you don't know what to do. But like every move, there is something to counter this move. If the move was really broken then this move would be unppunishable, which it's not the case imo.

His Melee neutral B is back? I didn't notice it when watching the "victory" video in the morning. Cool I guess. I'd buy them anyway, just for the sake of having all characters in the roster.
