Actually, I believe I watched the same video. The person wasn't joking nor was he trying to insult anyone. He actually said before he started the video he did lots of research reading books, talking to professors on the subject. All that jazz. And that he tried really hard to make sure he was as accurate as possible.

I would link the video, but it also delves into sexual preference and, while nothing too explicit, has a couple things that are "saucy."

There are points that I think he makes too many leaps in logic though.
He may have said all of that but if what RR quoted is part of the video, then he's obviously just spewing nonsense.

Not even worth the time to hear out.

I say with SSB4, it's a great time to get it if you're interested in the titles that's already out.

I highly recommend Mario 3D World and Pikmin 3 especially, they're amazing games. NSMBU is alright, it's just another rehash, less so than the previous entries, but still a rehash, but it's a well made game. Wonderful 101's demo was... okay, I've only played the demo, but I sort of didn't enjoy it. Mario Kart 8 is pretty good, flawed in spots (ESPECIALLY battle mode ugh), DS version is still king IMHO, but MK8 is definitely worth playing to me. I have no opinions on DKCTF as I don't even own it, same to Hyrule Warriors.
Mario Kart DS is better than MK7. It just had way more features. MK7 lacks in that department, and as I don't own a Wii U, I can't say anything about MK8. I'm really bad at Mario Kart online, so if I had MK8, I wouldn't play the online mode as much as I did before in past MK games. As for other games, I don't know what to say about 3D World, but I really wanted something like 64 instead, and finally, I'd obviously get Smash Bros. for Wii U.

Black and White's stories were good, but they weren't interesting to me. All I do with Pokémon games is complete them as soon as possible, but since getting Pokémon from PokéGen is hard on the 3DS, I go to competitive battle simulators and do matches there.
X/Y are boring to me, honestly. They improved the gameplay with Mega Evolutions and all that, but the story is boring. I don't know what to do after beating the game. I'm not fond of the X/Y anime either.
X/Y are overhyped, imo. They are fun, but not more than that. Boring 'rivals', Gym Leaders not having more than three Pokémon and the Elite Four not more than four, no postgame and the Exp. Share (at least this one can be turned off). And the fact GameFreak decided to give Charizard and Mewtwo two Mega Evolutions didn't help me either.
If I would play all the generations right now, it would go 5>3>2=6>1>4. This might change if I ever get to play Platinum, heard it's really good.

You ever played Okami or Professor Layton and the Lost Future? Those two made me cry, Xenoblade came close. But yeah Mystery Dungeon was lame IMO, the second ones were better.
Watched Okami. Don't see it. Have watched some Laytons. Don't see it. Never heard of Lost Future. Not interested.

I may feel a little bad about some things that happen to characters in a story, but cry? Yeah, no. That's just not happening.

Especially since in some cases, the characters kind of deserved to have it happen due to some really dumb decisions they made.

In other cases such as moments that are supposed to be "moving"...I usually just don't feel it. Nothing really ever "moves" me, though.

The one about the Kamekamehah right?

Actually, one of the things he stresses in his video a whole bunch is that not all people who have autism have the same symptoms, and that while some people who have autism can't imagine Samus doing a Kamekamehah, there are plenty of people who have autism who can.

MK7 kind of bored me, it was an alright game itself, but it felt too barebones. Unfortunately MK8 is sort of barebones too, but they've improved racing a lot. Blue Shell is less of an annoyance now, but at the cost of the item balance now feeling too lenient because they've nerfed Star Man and Lightning. But yeah, it may not be for you then.

3D World is pretty great, even if it's not following the 64 formula (I feel the same way you do though, I'd love a follow up to Mario 64). I didn't like 3D Land much as I've felt was kind of... idk, it didn't feel memorable or interesting. 3D World on the other hand felt excellent. You may like it a lot if you want to give a game following 3D Land's formula (and much improved to boot) another go.

All I know is that Mario Kart DS was ****ing great. One of the best games in the series. Though I think my favorite is Double Dash. I have MK7, and I like it a lot too, mostly for the track selection being pretty top tier.

Trust me, I had the same thoughts on 3DWorld when it was first announced but after playing it, I realized it really is not "just another Mario game" like it looks. They put so much effort into making the game incredible! There is so much replay value with the greens stars, stamps, five characters, and FOUR bonus worlds. The game isn't particularly easy in the latter worlds and, in fact, it can get really difficult at times. The cat suit is so much fun and really makes it feel like the old Mario games where the powerups allow you to reach secret areas but are never required to finish the level.

They easily could've just slapped the Koopalings and Bowser Jr. into it, thrown in some old powerup for nostalgia sake, made eight worlds and been done with it.

There are points that I think he makes too many leaps in logic though.
The point I stopped agreeing with him was the "autistic people can't think of Samus using Kamehameha" point.
If the characters are made only with what they only use, then why does Ness have Paula's powers? Why does Captain Falcon use so many attacks that aren't about F-Zero?

So then what's the point of asking whether or not people can imagine Samus doing a Kamehameha? It just seems so pointless.

If I had played Unwound Future first without playing the previous Layton games, I wouldn't have shed a tear.

But, unfortunately, I did play the previous Layton games, so the ending to UF was moving. After getting to know Layton so well, watching that last part made me pretty sad.

I think they're balanced.
And the only reasons they aren't usable online is because you're forced to customize them, there's no "Default" Mii Fighter.

People are probably breaking their circle pads on smash due to pressing on the sides of the pad and not the center so it eventually breaks from having pressure on a full compass of angles all the time.

Well, the reason isn't exactly that they are OP. It's more like they can be made in such a wide variety, that's the unfair part. Each character can only use the default specials they are given too. It's so that everyone knows what moves each fighter will bring to the table. Though I still think Custom moves would have been cool for online though.

How did that even happen? Smash SHOULD NOT EVER break your circle pad. Not unless you use a screwdiver to perform smash attacks.
The circle pad on the original 3DS (Not XL) is not built to be pushed as hard and constantly as it is for Smash. I can already feel the circle pad on my 3DS getting pretty loose.

And Smash broke nearly everybody's circle pad. What are you getting at dude?
I never even played MKDS to a competitive level, and the thing still broke.
Infact as soon as I unlocked R.O.B. the R button got wedged and never popped back up. :\

Yeah, I'm in the same position. I just play the games, beat them and do post-game content and I'm done. I have no interest in multiplayer battling because it requires me to do these metagame stuff I'm not interested in. I actually though BW's story was ehhh though, I heard it picks up right at the last 10 minutes but it doesn't feel like worth the payoff. The pacing in that game annoyed me and I honestly hated the characters, especially Cheren, he looks so pretentious. Ugh...

And yeah, XY's story sucked. Everyone feels so mindlessly happy and your rival is really lame... Also Shauna is so lame, I can't stand her and her "YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND EVEN THOUGH WE BARELY MET, LET'S HOLD HANDS AND WATCH FIREWORKS".
Cheren is a nerd. I mean, the way he's saying things sounds like as if he was smart. Now he's a Gym Leader for some reason I don't know. Once I beat the game, there's not much I can do. I try to do competitive Pokémon in the games, but it is time consuming and not helpful. Even then, Black 2 and White 2 didn't increase my interest in Gen 5. Only the competitive stuff made me interested, as I watched videos about that on YouTube. Tons of battles were on the DS itself, and rarely on the Pokémon Showdown! simulator. Pokémon Online is just as good, though. Same stuff, but with a better teambuilder.
X/Y's rivals were lame. Serena was lame. Shauna was lame. Tierno was lame, and Trevor was also lame. All the joy just to be annoying. This is why they say Blue is the best rival.

X/Y are overhyped, imo. They are fun, but not more than that. Boring 'rivals', Gym Leaders not having more than three Pokémon and the Elite Four not more than four, no postgame and the Exp. Platinum is good. Like, really, really good. The music of Gen 4 in general is peaceful. I'd say it's better than Black and White.
People may complain about the slower framerate, but what can you do about it. It didn't bother me. The Elite Four was much more difficult in D/P, though. Platinum's is a bit easier. The Pokémon availability is better in Platinum, so yes, if you ever get to play it, you won't be disappointed.

Also yes, Mario Kart DS is the best Mario Kart game. No regrets.

Yeah, I heard some people stating that MK8 is bad and all that. I mean, I could just get it for DLC and to complete everything but then again, I wouldn't play the online as much. Several people from MKBoards stopped playing MK8 and went back to MK7, which isn't surprising (for me). Eh, 3D Land was good. I guess I could give 3D World a try, maybe some things have changed from the 3DS game. Oh yeah, I'd also go and use Art Academy: SketchPad. :troll:

@ Bedoop Bedoop Dude, I've got the same R button problem as you. My DS Lite and DSi had broken R buttons, but my DSi XL and 3DS did not have it for some reason.

Mario Kart DS was a great game, but way too easy if you knew how to :snake:. Too bad technical limitations prevented the NGC tracks to have their Double Dash hazards or easter eggs (Bomb car in Mushroom Bridge, Yoshi Copter in both Baby Park and Yoshi Circuit).

I liked Black 2's rival a lot. He wasn't a complete asshole. But having a P.O'd dude that helped you take on Team Plasma was pretty alright, and he felt like a decent challenge. At least more than Cheren and Bianca. Because most of their fights you could just mow them over with 1 or 2 Pokemon at the most.

Granted, there's plenty of more things I like about Gen 5, since it's my 2nd favorite. I found the gym leaders more challenging than Gen 4's. And I liked a lot of the towns.

Gen 5 also had a few of my personal favorite Pokemon. Emboar, Eelektross, Stoutland, Braviary, and Krookodile to name a few.

I loved Mario Kart 8 because of its incredible attention to detail. Honestly, I don't think I would like it nearly as much if I hadn't watched the Gamexplain analysis on all the tracks pointing out all the tiny aesthetic details that they took the time to fit in. And the anti-gravity allows for such awesome track designs. The biggest disappointment was Rainbow Road...

My circle pad's rubber never got loose until Smash Bros. And I don't even push the thing that hard. But here it is now... my circle pad rubber now would randomly pop off because its no longer sticky to the circle pad's plastic. I need super glue, heard it works

Since october 3rd, almost 90 hours at this point. Competitively and casually, but there isn't a difference with how hard I press it whether I play Comp. or Cas., so that shouldn't matter.
And I love Rainbow Road 8. One of my favs honestly.

Maybe I'm overlooking Gen 5, but now that it ended, it's "eh". BW2's rival was okay. At least he did something.
After I beat BW2 I did nothing but transfer Pokémon made from PokéGen with legit stuff to Pokémon Bank.
