The Wii U version will have, at least, 437 music tracks.

But the Wii U is weak lol. Its GPU is what makes its games look so "vivid." All it has over the Xbox One and PS4 is better games. Still not interested in it though.

Yep, when we talk raw power, both Xbone and PSQuad outclass WiiU by A LOT, but what makes a system trully worthwhile is how developers find ways to use the hardware to the fullest potential with games, and thats where I think so far WiiU has an edge. Well, that and the gamepad, I really love the gamepad.

Tho, Bloodborne is coming out in Spring so I'l be picking that up for sure

Master Fortress is the new final form, at least that's what I got from the Direct.

The Direct showed all the bosses in an inverted order with Master Shadow being shown first and Master Giant shown last. It also makes sense for Master Fotress to be first because it's the largest form and the swarm gets smaller and smaller with each phase. My question is: Will Master Fortress just be the entire boss fight? It seems like it will take a lot longer to defeat than any other phase.

To be fair, Wii U is pretty weak compared to the Xbox 1/PS4 (and if I'm not mistaken, has slightly worse CPU than 360/PS3 but much better GPU than those two). The framerate and resolution is all up to the developers.

Nintendo uses less power for their consoles, which is to be expected. The Wii U uses less power than the Wii and the rest of the other consoles; it's a good move, but eh. It supports HD but it's nothing revolutionary. HD is the standard, so it was obvious Nintendo had to support that.

I agree though, yes, the developers push the system to its limits. Why does Mario Kart 8 look so "gorgeous?" The GPU. Why does Smash Wii U look good with the standard HD? The GPU.
It's suffering from a huge lack of games. The launch line-up was eh, 2013 games were not that interesting to me, and 2014 games...I don't know.

Let's hope NIntendo's next console and handheld sell and innovate, with the easier time porting games with no graphical compromises, same unified operating system and same architechture. I heard they were going to use some things from the Wii U on the next consoles.

no it is the final form the animation leading up to it is the same as master core death animation in the 3ds version.

Those fanboys want Nintendo IPs to be in their consoles (and Nintendo becoming a software publisher Sega-style at an extent).. not happening anytime soon. Maybe with Nintendo's next generation system, the processing power is significantly stepped up, along with the graphics and the usual stuff. Let's not forget about the name; I think it should be Nintendo [insert product name here].

I know you're dead set against the Wii U, but it definitely won't be a console that will dissopoint its owners if they give it time. So far I'd say that 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Pikmin 3 and Super Luigi/New Super Mario Bros U have been a fantastic few exclusives. With the obvious game out later this year, along with Bayonetta 2, it'll have a great amount of games to choose from if you decide to get it for Christmas. Their line up for next year is also fantastic, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Zelda, Mario Maker, Splatoon... I could go on. At the end of the day it's up to the individual what they want to spend on a console and what they demand from it technically, but from a games standpoint, IMO, the Wii U has never been weak and is going from strength to strength.

I suppose you're right. And watching it in slow motion made me realize that a heart container appears as Master Fortress is forming so that will help justify it a lot.

None, even if I was a MLP fan (personally can't stand it), I wouldn't like any of this at all. Smash Bros should stick to what it is, not invite characters that does not belong.

Don't get me wrong, the Wii U has good games, but I'm just not interested in it. It's not because of graphics, it's not because I want a more powerful Nintendo console (lol the GPU being the one who does wonders and having low power output is already fine), and it's not because I want to keep talking about it.
From a games standpoint, the Wii U has an advantage over the Xbox One and PS4, since almost every game in those two console are shooting games. At this point I'm just waiting to see Nintendo's next console and handheld, and see how they explain the way how games can be played on the handheld with no problem.

As for my opinion on Wii U, I think it's an alright console with some flaws. But some of the software I've played were fantastic. But my major issue is that they're so far few and between. I have to wait many months to play the next Wii game I'm hyped up for. There's barely good third party support (outside of niche indie titles) and the Wii U itself still feels behind the 360/PS3 in terms of online content.

It's been improving at least. I was resentful of buying the console at launch, but that changed with Mario 3D World being great and their E3 showing for this year was full of nice surprises, so it sort of makes up for some of its shortcomings. With that said, Smash Bros U looks great, but I'm on the fence about Bayonetta and Hyrule Warriors. Bayonetta looks like fun though (thankful there's a demo for me to try out in the future), but HW might not be the game for me. Splatoon, Yoshi's Wooly World and Kirby's Rainbow Curse all look like something for me to look forward to as well!

3DS... on the other hand, I feel most of Nintendo games there are a hit or miss... Is there any exciting games on the horizon though? I don't really care much for ORAS, I'm still sort of burned from XY.

As someone who does, however, I'd pick any 2 character combination between Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash and Spike. Just to completely disregard your..."rules". ¦3

If I were to go along with them, however, It'd be any combination between Vinyl Scratch, Spitfire or Octavia.

But nothing of the sort would ever happen, so you'd best just turn to Brawl Hacks for that. ¦D

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is probably my favorite Pokemon spin-off, with Pokemon Conquest right behind it. Red Rescue team was the first video game that I cried about, with the emotional grip at the ending, and the fantastic music. It was so good!
I did not even buy the 3ds version. It looked terrible and changed so many mechanics. Like the hunger system. I loved that mechanic, not only because it was nostalgic, but it made more items useful and it made you react quicker. But then they took it ot for most dungeons.
I am honestly glad that Nintendo is not acknowledging the Gates to Infinity even exists. Hopefully they make another MD game, and it returns to the roots of the spin-off.
EDIT: I also hate how you get to choose your character. What is the fun in that? Plus the choices were terrible.

I honestly don't think Mystery dungeon would get a rep in Smash Bros. I won't deny the possibility but I feel like new Pokemon reps will probably always be a pokemon from the most recent main-series pokemon games. Trophies and music on the other hand I would love to see.

Except for Gate to Infinity. I shall never shed a tear for that game. It better not have killed the series.
The music in Mystery dungeon was always fantastic, the mechanics perfect, and even the story, until Gates to Infinity. I hate that game with a passion.
Like I said, Nintendo should go back to the roots of the spin off, and then add in a multiplayer vs mode with online or something. Now that would be pretty cool.
Muliplayer would be fun. Co op would be insane.
