Except she isn't presented as anything, but a blue, foxy vixen. She has telepathy, but it's not really used much. Hell, the Great Fox could detect stuff like her making Krystal more useless besides being another fighter for Star Fox. Oh, and she can use magic and that staff, why can't she have supercharged lasers or something and be Star Fox's heavy, mobile artillery?
Like I said: he wants her treasure. From a logical standpoint it doesn't even make sense she's in Team Star Fox, considering she has had only ONE YEAR of training in how to fly an Arwing. So Krystal is either a fast learner, or either Fox just wants her around and doesn't think about the possible consequences her inexperience could cause.

Hopefully most people will shut up come Smash 5, given we had, more or less, 8 female newcomers. probablynotbutitiswishfulthinkingShe's female. That's enough to make her unique in the sausage-fest known as video games.
The art isn't that bad. It's sub-par but I think that's the appeal of it actually. The anime versions animation style and general flow just bores me. It was enjoyable for a bit but I found myself skipping portions or even entire episodes because it was the same old scene played over and over. Eren sitting still while thinking out loud. Characters trembling while screaming as dashing lines move past them. Another episode about training for the Survey Corps. I am not a big filler hater as some others are but the anime version, to me, lacked the soul of the animation studio behind it which is sad since I love Production I.G. There are parts of the anime that are like "HOLY **** that's awesome" but, IMO, they are few and far between.

I'm more disappointed with Linkin Park. I don't know, maybe it's because of how inflated they've gotten, but they've always left a bad taste for me.
It's not that we hate Krystal. We just hate it whenever Cliff brings it up. As his "defenses" are always straw grasping, insulting, and taking small, often times made up or subjective, and parading them around like some big revelation. And it doesn't help that he brings it up at an awkward rate: not to the point where he does it constantly, but to the point where it gets annoying when it does come up.Why do people not like Kyrstal?

I like her. But only with her using the staff is there any reason to add her. She's not that extremely popular, nor is being female a good reason whatsoever. But even Palutena's Staff moves are very different from what Krystal could do. Palutena's staff is not used like a Bo Staff, which the type of Staff Krystal has. This actually matters.Why do people not like Kyrstal?

Okay. I love her (she's my third favorite Star Fox character behind Falco and Fox) and she was my most wanted newcomer right behind the villager. I'm not heartbroken she didn't get in even though I would have liked her to, though. I can understand why people don't like her (though I actually liked Adventures and Assault more than 64; yeah I know I'm a terrible human being yada yada yada). I can recognize that if there's going to be another Star Fox character, Wolf should come back first. Then, and only then, if there's going to be another character Krystal would be next in line.
Strangely, I'd have switched out Falco for her only for moveset reasons. Three fairly unique Star Fox characters. However, I think all 4 are the best SF choices possible. And I wanted Wolf first too~
