Smash 4 Social Thread 3.0

I care about who they are, I actually wouldn't give a damn about Smash if it didn't include my favorite Nintendo characters (Well, MOST of them).To be fair, I do care about gameplay, but not as much as the roster or the game's content, since the game's a Nintendo Museum first and THEN a fighting game. All those 'no gameplay' posts are half-trolling since I do care about the gameplay of each character, but not as much as some of you guys seem to do. Where you think a good moveset justifies a C-List nobody who no one remembers.

But what's the point of playing Smash Bros if it isn't fun? Most of the fun comes from having these characters come together and fighting it out. I wouldn't want to just see them sitting around. And how well they fight is also important.

Would I have liked Ridley or K. Rool? Hell yes! But they aren't the end all be all of Smash.

So don't get me wrong, I perfectly understand why so many people care about the rosters in Smash. Hell, it's an important aspect too. But I don't see why it would take priority over the single most important aspect in every other game, which is the gameplay itself.

If Smash had completely jank physics, it wouldn't be as fun. If we didn't have all these extra gameplay modes, it'd be bare bones. All I'm saying is that the roster is only one part of why Smash is so good as a whole.

Because I really don't want a character everyone knows about already to be the big end-all of the 50-Fact extravaganza, at least Bowser Jr. could work to show the 8-player Smash mode.

You, know, I have a question for you.

You come in here, make points that people don't agree with, argue, usually leave feeling insulted or something. You usually also have something to do while you're arguing over which fictional characters should be in a game that's already released and therefore cannot be changed.

My only question is that if you usually leave this thread feeling insulted, or usually have something you should be doing, why not just leave this thread instead of continuing a self-destructive practice that defines insanity, expecting things to change by doing the same thing repeatedly? It can't POSSIBLY be healthy.

He looks way worse. Why do we keep feeling the need to make children's characters slightly more realistic? Even the colors are more drab and bland. This is coming from a dude who didn't even watch Bob the Builder all that much as a kid. Though it's game on if they **** with Sesame Street.

Shoot! After playing Hyrule Warriors, I now want Impa more than before. In the past, I did want Impa to replace Sheik while keeping Sheik's old moveset... but knowing Sakurai won't change movesets... I wouldn't mind if Sheik keeps her Melee/SSB4 moveset while Impa gets in with a new moveset based on Hyrule Warriors. Then again, I also grew to like Lana and I wouldn't mind if she gets in SSB5. She's pretty cute.
