I can actually kind of see the lack of content in the 3DS version, and at the same time, I think that's the reason that we get randomized drops and repeats, as a cheap simple way to lengthen the game.

I mean, other than the challenges requiring all custom items, I've pretty much got 100% in the game already, I even have most of the trophies. It's kind of jarring that I've gone through this game so quickly, I imagine that without the system of random items, you could complete this game in just a day with constant effort.

I really hope that the Wii U version will come jam packed with more content, especially if you can link the games to unlock shared things that you have on the 3DS. If not, then you could literally complete the Wii U version in a day if you've finished the 3DS.

In other news, I've finished each type of Smash Run final battle. Still collecting custom moves...

The grinding gets too tedious once you've collected so many things though :( Not really fun.

Okay, I hope this works...
You have three answers:
  1. You stayed awake all night and you're on the verge of crashing.
  2. You went to bed at 10 p.m. last night and so you your 8 hours of sleep from then has awoken you from your rested slumber.
  3. She selled sea shells on the sea shore at 6 a.m. and you just had to buy one.
Choose.
I actually went to bed early yesterday, so I guess it's #2
Also, I'm in the middle of marathoning an anime at the moment, so I'm gonna get back to that.
Typed this post about 2 hours ago, and finally I get to put it up.
So, how're you guys?

Well how else were they going to fit it in a cartridge?

Well, the rubber cap from my 3DS' circle pad has fallen off. And still no release date for the New Nintendo 3DS model for North America...

That has happened to me too. You can just put it back onto the circle pad plastic and use it as normal. Expect it to fall out every now and then though.

I heard super glue works though!

I still kinda disagree on the Kirby stage choice.

Mostly for personal reasons as my nostalgia lies with the newer games like Nightmare in Dreamland - up. It's disappointing to me how Sakurai seems to be sticking so closely to the more classic games. I do sincerely hope there is a lot of Return to Dreamland, Super Star Ultra, Mass Attack, Epic Yarn content in Smash bros Wii U. It really would be a shame for all this new material to be thrown to waste.

However, with the Great cave offensive being a stage, and a good possibility that is the only Kirby stage. The only hope now is Ultra music...

Fell off with rubber cement. Plus it has a hole and ripping around the corners.

I'm starting to give up on it.

You could just play with the non rubber surface. I remember someone playing a PSP without the stick cover, and it was just a hard plastic stick, so if he can do that, you can too.

You have to remember that Sakurai hasn't made a Kirby game since he left HAL, I can't blame him for sticking to his own material for the series he created, it's something special to him. While he may be alright with what HAL has been doing with Kirby, he probably just doesn't want anything to do with it personally, and of course he would have a preference to the games that he actually made. This is the same reason I can't see Bandana Dee ever happening, HAL made him a protagonist, not Sakurai.

And while I do still enjoy Kirby games (Triple Deluxe was amazing), I'm very glad that Sakurai is sticking with his own work.

Chiming on on the content thing, Smash 3D is a bit light on the content compared to Brawl and even Melee. It does seem like most of the effort went to the Wii U version, since it seems more polished, has more modes, and will probably have more stuff to do in general. For example, the Wii U is getting stage builder, trophy screenshots, possibly 8-player Smash, Super Smash Party, Master & Crazy Orders, and probably even more that we don't know about yet. What does the 3DS get? Smash Run and StreetSmash, the latter of which will probably barely even get played. It's a bit upsetting considering so much more could've been done with it.

To be fair though, maybe having massive content was not the intention. Perhaps it was meant to be Smash while away from the console. A game meant to played while in long trips or with friends when not at your house.

So I'm attempting to do that "Roll Dodge Cancel Grab" all the whippersnappers are using, and I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

True, there is still the allure of "ZOMG PORTABLE SMERSH!!!" and I think that's part of Nintendo's marketing for it, but there is still so much more that could've been done with it, especially since Smash U is shaping up to be the most content packed game in the series.

I know I only have two months here, but I'm sure Crashboards shouldn't be that present.

Still, I know what xSoul says with all the 3DS stuff, but personally I don't believe the 3DS was meant to compete with the Wii U. Kinda like with 64, Melee, and Brawl, it looks to be that the 3DS and Wii U versions are clearly meant to be different games focusing on different audiences.

But worse case, that's why DLC exists.

Huh, look at that its back up finally.

So what's going on?
I can safely say I'm almost done with the custom specials.

CrashBoards is over? Finally.

So Rosalina can get a black Luma, that's neat.

And I just got all of Fox's moves, that makes two. :4olimar::4fox:
