Pikachu is so meh though. At least Clefairy is from the moon lol.
I just don't see the relevance of a mediocre character representing the series.

Guess I'll break it down for ya.

• He's a cute animal mascot that appeals to a mass audience. Kids, females, and even some males love the little guy on his cuteness factor.
• He's been showcased to be both cute AND a badass character in both the games and media. Best of both worlds.
• Has a distinct silhouette many people nowadays will recognise. (Specifically, his ears and jagged lightning-shaped tail.)
• Nintendo.
• Good marketing and merchandise across the world.
• The anime from the 90's pushed him forward to be the mascot, and successfully so.

You might not like him, and you don't have to. You can't ignore the fact the rest of the world likes him, though.

I think the fact that she returned for this game over someone like Mewtwo speaks volumes.

For one, the starters have had their ups and downs (Charizard especially). And two, if they did give mascot status to one of the three starters, then one could have an uproar with fans of the other starters feeling left out or not as special.

No, you just mentioned Jigglypuff being cut due to irrelevance. It's notable that Jigglypuff made it into this game over tons of other relevant Pokemon. Should I have replaced the word "Mewtwo" with "relevant Pokemon?"

I've never liked pikachu nor can I name too many people who do (albeit, pika is extremely popular because of marketing and the reason stated above) but I cannot understand why they could not have picked another Pokemon that worked to the same effect. Any of the baby starters work the exact same way: they are very cute but evolve into powerful monsters. Like I said, Charizard is super irrelevant to me but his baby form would have made much more sense as a rep.

This is one of the oracle games right? If I recall correctly, the Oracle games were super rare prior to their rerelease on the 3ds. The lowest price I ever saw was over $100. Most people nowadays have never played it.
EDIT: It might not be the container actually... It might be the hook and feather.

The only thing I could think of is the Long Hook. But even then it's not like I showed a major plot point or anything.

And one more thing, it's an old post. This is it. Since I know a lot of it has to do with reporting; why would someone now, after I posted it around eight days ago, make a big deal out of it?

I have 4 theories.
1. Maybe somebody saw it and thought the kong hook was actually a spoiler.
2. Maybe somebody on Miiverse has a personal vendetta against you.
3. Maybe you're just the victim of a random troll attack.
4. Maybe it was all a dream, and none of this is real.
