I've had a grey name for a while now. Maybe since April? But I have limited administrative powers and only in certain areas.I don't know if this would make @D-idara laugh a bit or not

So I have now faced my most tragic reality. I lost my 3DS and copy of Smash. I was playing it last Saturday morning at the in-laws after we returned to Japan. I had woken up at around 3 am due to jet lag and my wife was asleep so I pulled it out. I played it for some time and then placed it on the table. At around 7, we woke up and I was charging it. We had breakfast and left around noon. I remember taking my 3DS and charger and placing it into my tote bag. So we drove home and I neglected to check if it was there.
Plus I was distracted by the awesomeness that is Destiny (guuuuuuh). On Wednesday, I went to see if my 3DS was there and poof. No 3DS but my power cable was there. My tote bag was always next to the tv so I didn't take it anywhere:/. So yesterday, I checked my wife's car and nothing. I checked all our luggage and nothing. We then drove to my in-laws house and nothing. I even checked outside and didn't find it.
I have no clue where it could be :/. Which sucks considering all the work I put into it. I had just unlocked my last all-star trophy
So I will be looking into purchasing a new 3DS and Smash sometime today or this week. And if it turns up, I'll have two copies for my wife and I to play together.

I'm always OCD as to what expensive stuff I bring with me outside of the house. Even just things like my wallet and house keys I have to constantly check to make sure they're in my pocket.
I always keep my 3DS wrapped up in a plastic bag at the bottom of my should bag, wedged between books. So I can at least notice my 3DS wrapped up in my bag.

I'm gonna laugh if the Tower of Smash leak is true but instead of Chorus Men, Ridley, Mewtwo, Dixie and Impa we get 5 different characters.

I'd take Medusa(semi-clone of Palutena), Mewtwo(clone of MewAnd those 5 are clones.

In terms of the roster, I'm content with it despite 3 of the characters I actually wanted being added (Mega Man, Shulk, and Palutena). 6 of the characters I wanted were reduced to Assist status (Dark Samus, Midna, Saki, Sheriff, Takamaru, and Prince Sable) and others were not even in the game or reduced to trophies (Ridley, K. Rool, Dixie Kong, Mach Rider, Toon Zelda, Tetra, Isaac, Mewtwo, And others.)
Despite all this, I feel content with most of Sakurai's choices. I'm not all "OMG SAKURAI IS GOD!!!!" but, to me, unique and fun characters are much more beneficial than shoe-ins. Case in point, I was an avid detractor of Pac Man and Duck Hunt. But I've grown to like then and not because I have to. They were designed very well and are fun to play as. Dark Pit hurts, especially given Dark Samus could of easily been out in but, hey, Zero Suit got some massive buffs and for that I'm grateful.
I also think its unfair to compare rosters between the series. Brawl's roster had many obvious choices for Smash such as Wario, Diddy Kong, Meta Knight, etc. It's hard to compare with that; especially since Sakurai called it "perfect". However, I see Smash 4's roster more so focusing on newer franchises and characters which isn't necessarily bad as it bad as it brings new life into the roster. That makes sense to me considering that the pool of characters are growing slimmer by each installment. Greninja doesn't have that star status but it's an interesting character that adds to the roster. Save for the Doc and Dark Pit, I'm generally content and happy with it. I never expected my most wanted characters to get in and I'm not salty about missing them. I kept my expectations low and now I'm fairly happy with this game. TBH, I thought the 3DS was going to be horrible but looks good this far
I never supported version exclusive characters and am happy it never went that way. However, I do support the motion that Smash Wii U will have new characters that the 3DS doesn't have but you can transfer the characters between the two platforms. I see this as a huge possibility - especially considering stages and exclusive game modes will not sell a game. That's why not I'm not getting salty about the missing characters.

So there's a new trailer in anticipation of the Sonic Boom TV series (not the video game).
It... doesn't look bad at all. For a TV show aimed at kids, the production values are pretty good, and I legitimately laughed at a couple of parts.
I hope it's as good as the trailer promises, if not better. Sonic needs the boost in popularity, even if it's just boosted by kids fans.

I remember 15 minute Smash. Donkey Kong put in work. Down B all day, every day. I didn't even bother with the Brawl version.
. I'm just indifferent to them.
As for other characters I wanted, well yeah it sucks they aren't in. But oh well, can't win them all.
I'm not too sure if I myself believe that the Wii-U version has more characters that can be transferred over. I'd have to see it for myself honestly. Maybe I'd buy it if this game was made by Game Freak.

Yeah, im a bit skeptical on it too but I fully support it happening. Characters obviously sells the games and if Nintendo wants to market the hell out if this game, featuring new on-disc characters would be the way to go. For example, the Wii U version doesn't have Dark Pit, the Doc, Duck Hunt, and Bowser Jr but you can transfer them to the Wii U as well as transfer Wii U characters to the 3DS. Granted this is all speculation and in wary to not place too much faith into it but it makes sense to me considering Nintendo really wants to market this game.I remember 15 minute Smash.
