Uh, I thought that 3DS and WiiU were compatible, Uh... I think that if they have problems adding IC in 3DS Is unfair dont put them In WiiU version I hope that in development he thought that and decided to add more characters in WiiU, is kinda derp to cut a 2 times veterans In a version that can support them cause the other version does not (will have sense if both were compatible) Damn Im so Mad Now :c
Wii U and 3DS are completely different architecture-wise and thers's no cross play. Unfortunately Sakurai promised the same roster so we're stuck with it now.

All physical, all the time. I love the card, disc, artwork, and any inserts there are. Plus new game smell, something tangible, and not just buying a licence.

I'm using the YouTube app on the 3DS for the first time. Suprisingly, it's working fine. No long waits or buffering and searching takes no time at all.

Short hop is a short jump. Just tapping x/y/up gets you a short hop, versus completely pressing it.
Auto canceling is something that can happen with certain air-attacks. Some aerials will have certain frames in which you can land on the ground and suffer no lag upon landing.
You can try this with Villagers down-air, for example; it's one of the more noticeable ones. Depending on where in the attack you land, you could get no landing lag, or quite a bit.

What I was whining about was Mega Man's Flame Sword is not capable of this. If it could, it would be an excellent "get off'a me!" tool while on the ground. Instead, you're quite vulnerable if you land during it.

Mega Man seems decent overall. I wasn't expecting him to be top tier. But there's a bit of a learning curve to really get good with him. I think the only major buff I can think for him would be to give his Charge Shot more range. It just seems a little too short. Maybe do the same for the Metal Blade too.
It's mainly just a matter of getting use to him. I found Uair, Dair, Utilt, and Bair to be his most reliable kill options. He specials are underwhelming in general, though the buzz saw is decent, hopefully he has good custom ones. The buster has very little hitstun so it's rather limited and it could use better range but it serves it's purpose decent enough. I found Fair to be the main go to move, good range, good speed, little landing lag. Dthrow is pretty good and you can follow up Fair with it at low to mid percents and after that you can follow with Uair for the kill. His Smashes, while strong, are on the slow side in terms of end-lag, they have good start-up lag though.

He's not an easy character but he has potential. My main gripe is the range of the buster.

Villager is rather similar to Megaman I found but does everything better. Fair and Bair are great. Gyroid is good. Ftilt has good range. He's also not an easy character but has a ton of potential.

Mario might be a high-tiered character in this game. He can easily go 0-50+ with his amazing combo game.

Link is also pretty good. But I keep wanting to do Project M stuff with him lol.

Pikachu is still just plain weird to use for me. Though he is quite an obviously good character still.

Worst part is that I got a taste of the full Japanese version which has now made me impatient for October 2nd to hurry up and come along.

I found it to be quite safe to land with in all honesty. It doesn't have much landing lag to it.

I know you can use the 3DS as a controller.

No cross-play was confirmed very early on, not feasible.
Using your 3DS as a controller for Smash is.

Custom moves is another thing that the Wii U menu in thd 3DS version is supposed to do. I didn't even think about amiibos ever being mandatory for that too, good point. What if you need the amiibo anyway? Not that I care much about custom moves. Can't use them online with randoms or most likely in any tourneys.

i kinda don't want cross play as to fact of PSAS for vita and ps3 had issues with each other

It depends how it would work. I think it could be an easy way to unlock characters or play as someone not currently unlocked when selecting a guy. Maybe that's why he's doing no cross-play, because there's a lot of factors to put into it. It's not as easy as "link to unlock or transfer stuff".

Sure, it has unlimited plays, but it has 5 characters, how many times are you gonna play it before the game comes out?

You use those custom moves. That's the point of them. They can also be used to save a "play style" for computer AI so you can fight them.

Was watching a stream, and kids are saying they paid $50 to random people on the internet for the demo codes :/ I really hope they're just trolling.

Sure, it has unlimited plays, but it has 5 characters, how many times are you gonna play it before the game comes out?

Why do people think that trophies are ruling out the possibility of DLC characters?
The only one that seems truly damning for me is the Ice Climbers trophy, considering it's their Brawl model.

It's also more updated than some models. It's not identical to that, actually.

But there's only two reasons they won't be DLC; Sakurai says no or can't get them working correctly.

The game should only come with the characters from the demo and charge you to unlock the rest of the characters

This is why I hope Sakurai has no influence on DLC characters, especially if they are only veteran characters.
This roster is just asking to be adding on to.
Of course he'll have influence for a while. He doesn't like any cuts anyway. The only one we have to worry about is Snake due to licensing issues. I even had a feeling he might not be back. He wasn't added as a Konami rep, after all, it was just a favor to a friend. It's not surprising he's gone, as the favor is up.

This is interesting because the only model of Cuccos present in the game are directly from Ocarina of Time 3D, but if I remember correctly, the have a unique model in the game.

From what I remember, they're an enemy in Smash Run and an Item as well. Strange, isn't it?

IC trophy in smash 4 is a 3D model not 8 bits like would be for the game they are.
it's not their brawl apparence they look brighter.
