I think more experimenting needs to be done, but from what I've seen so far, this just looks like a neat tool for spacing attacks(Not saying that it's useless, but wavedashing provides more options). From what I'm seeing it can turn into something near the usefulness of wavedashing, since basically all ground options are doable out of it.

I still remember when I first encountered a Redead in Wind Waker. It was underneath the Private Cabana, two of them. They don't immediately attack you if they're sitting down (which both are doing in this area) so I quickly killed one of them without any problems, then freaked out as the other one suddenly screamed at me with that huge mouth and those angry, but tiny beady red pupils.I tolerate nothing involving horror. "Jump scares" in non-horror games freak me out and then there's these -bleepers-.
I completely agree with you, I'm just praying that people spend hours in the lab with this and it just becomes as natural as wavedashing in the meta.I think more experimenting needs to be done, but from what I've seen so far, this just looks like a neat tool for spacing attacks(Not saying that it's useless, but wavedashing provides more options).
They aren't. People are just weird like that. No, that's awesome.
Why are they shipping a robot and a badger?
Right, I was talking about Sherry was turned into a sexed up, poor man's Rebecca. You and I were talking about Sherry Berkin on time (That annoying wench) about some time during the Fall. I do love Resident Evil, but I would rarely talk about anything post Resident Evil 4 since most of the fans viewed those games as bad (I liked 5 and 6 despite their flaws). If anything, Chris and Wesker had looked the best in RE5 and I loved how Capcom decided to keep their designs intact in Marvel vs Capcom 3 (Jill's was rather meh to be me and it got even better with Revelations).
Perfect Pivot Lengths: Longest to Shortest:You guys see this yet? So hype, can't wait for 4 to turn into something crazy popular
My day could be going worse, I'll put it that way. How are you doing?I just signed up for Twitter and I have no idea how to use the thing.
So how is everyone today? We've switched from kawaii to horror? My other favorite thing!
I need to play some more horror games...
It was already hate facing these things in the Wind Waker HD and even more after playing Ao Oni. Though the Ocarina of Time ReDeads clearly had the more frightening appearance and disturbing grab animations. I REALLY feel sorry for anyone that pairs Link with a ReDead or Dead Hands (And yes, Dead Hand x Link Rule 34 does exist).I tolerate nothing involving horror. "Jump scares" in non-horror games freak me out and then there's these -bleepers-.
I love how the distances are different for every character just like wavedashing since they are both based off of traction.Perfect Pivot Lengths: Longest to Shortest:

I just learned that if you walk and not run in Ocarina of Time, I believe, Gibdos do nothing. I don't know if this applies to Redeads, but if it does, then we get to surprise them! REVENGE MOTHER- *dragged off and sedated again*"cue DeviantART getting flooded with ship art everywhere"

I've not been scared of them since that first encounter though.
I'm pretty sure that's it the same. ReDeads are blind and only respond to sound. Running, and drawing your sword will alert them of your presence, but strangely walking with the Iron Boots does not.I just learned that if you walk and not run in Ocarina of Time, I believe, Gibdos do nothing. I don't see this turning into something absolutely necessary for competitive play, but it definitely has potential.I completely agree with you, I'm just praying that people spend hours in the lab with this and it just becomes as natural as wavedashing in the meta.
Why didn't you like Umbrella Chronicles? I loved both it and the Darkside Chronicles, even though they weren't traditional Resi Evil games. I hadn't played the originals so I found it great to catch up on the plot, and as far as on-rails shooters go they were very competent. Preferred them both to House of the Dead Overkill at the very least, and that was good too.Right, I was talking about Sherry was turned into a sexed up, poor man's Rebecca.
And yeah, I really like all the character's faces in the newer games. Leon looks like the rugged smart-*** he's supposed to be, Wesker is incredibly handsome, Jill is attractive as a result of looking badass, and Chris looks like manly while still kind-of looking like a dork.
I'm referring to Revelations Jill btw, her RE5 face model is awful.
I like every Resident Evil I've played except Umbrella Chronicles and 5.
Huh, I remember someone, Masaeanela?, walking around Gibdos and everything was fine. Anyway, since you have a Dark Soul's avatar, learning about that reminds me of the Old Hero in Demon's Souls who was blind and you could just sneak around to kill him. I don't know if the Dark Souls games have an enemy like that since I never played any of them.I'm pretty sure that's it the opposite. ReDeads are blind and only respond to sound. Running, and drawing your sword will alert them of your presence, but strangely walking with the Iron Boots does not.

So we shall.
We will see.
I mean, I thought it was okay, but there were some things I really couldn't stand about it. I loved the side missions with Wesker, though, in fact it's my favorite version of the character. Why didn't you like Umbrella Chronicles? While I did enjoy 5, Sheva's AI would be brain dead to the point of getting herself killed all the time or for me to do most of the killing for her (And this is coming from someone that hated the Ashley escort missions in RE4). Capcom's decision for permanently killing off Wesker didn't fly with me either since he's what makes the franchise good (R.I.P. Wesker). And we can all agree that Chris beating the **** out of a boulder in a volcano was random and unneeded.Right, I was talking about Sherry was turned into a sexed up, poor man's Rebecca.

An article has just been posted about the new tech.

Don't make me come over there, I got higher ranking than both of you combined! One day you will be a smash lord like me!

Aww, the sound thing was kind of a cool gimmick that not a lot of games outside stealth games use. It worked for Demon's Souls since it's not this fast-paced, "I'm going to die if I don't kill something" game. Maybe it could work for DMC, but it'd be annoying as hell. No, not really.
Although, there is a unique mechanic in Demon's Souls that was reused in Dark Souls 2.
In Demon's, Old Monk will summon a player to fight you as the "boss", and in DS2, the Looking Glass Knight can summon an invader from his Mirror Shield to fight the player.
This is what it would look like if Thomas the Tank Engine was a live-action thriller movie.Im very random today
No, I'm coming over there! Gonna give you the hurt real bad!Don't make me come over there, I got higher ranking than both of you combined!
We have two Lucarios now? If only I had a partner in crime.Get em with the aurabone thing @ Rysir !!
