Did they really need to give a convoluted plot as to why Hoenn is different in the remakes. We got along fine with story differences between the versions and changes with the previous remakes. Suddenly everything needs explaining.

It's possible that they felt that the way the timeline was set up was too much of a restriction for what they wanted to do with Mega Evolution and other certain plotlines, so they made the new timeline so that they were free of the restrictions without having to change the previous events to do it.

Yeah, it pretty much has to as it's stated that in the previous timeline, AZ's war never happens and Mega Evolution is unknown. So XY can't exist in the same timeline as FRLG/RSE to B2W2.

I'm buying physical so I won't get to play until tomorrow, and even then I'll be out of the house until late so I still may have to wait another 24 hours or so to play. So close yet so far...

In other news... I'm sleepy, so good night Smash Boards. Next time I come back here I will have Smash Wii U in my grasp.

The eshop said the digital version would release today at 8pm.
It's said that for over a week now.
A couple of days after that information was put up someone even made a thread about it.

I'll be getting Pokémon AlphaSapphire, though.

I have a day of drinking and Smashing with my friends tomorrow. I'm ridiculously excited.

They're all casuals, and they know how much I love Smash, so they've challenged me to 7 vs. 1.

I think I'll be able to take them.

First impressions: why the hell doesnt it let me change the default controls? Having to select a name each time just for a different control scheme is annoying, especially since it changes to Player 1 EVERY TIME you pick a different mode, it should have just defaulted your last used username. Gah.

Other than that 10/10 best game

Just got my copy of Omega Ruby, with the Primal Groudon statue. Also picked up Shadow of Mordor for PS4 cause it was half-price, and a Smash Wii U guide cause it looked cool. Got some work to do then a final lesson but I'll be playing ORAS soon!:colorful:

I just tried out Life Orb Rayquaza. It has far from perfect IVs and no EV training... thing still hits so hard it's absurd.

Still don't have the Wii U version (maybe this sunday).

I have already 661 trophies in the 3DS but they're becoming way harder to get any new one in the shop/Trophy Rush/Smash Run/All Star/Classic/everywhere.
