Hope so, when running into people who play seriously and then it changes to be 3 little macs play punch the lucario for several rounds among other derp stuff it gets sad when I realize it wont happen again.

And having all that fur around your eyeballs must feel uncomfortable. Just saying. I sometimes wonder why he looks like that.

Going by franchise size, I hope the next Smash brings at least 1 newcomer from either F-Zero, EarthBound, Metroid, or Donkey Kong, as well as any new IPs Nintendo has by then that fit.

Do you think we'll ever get to the point where the "next Smash game" will have over 100 playable fighters?

I don't know, but beating game modes with every fighter to unlock something will be really tedious if that happens.

I don't think we will get a new F-Zero character unless F-Zero has a successful new game between now and Smash 5, the same with Mother. I still think Dixie has potential for a 3rd DK rep, but I don't think K.Rool will get in. And for Metroid, eh?

As far as new IP's go, I have no idea if any of the recent IP's (Dillon's, The Wonderful101, Pushmo, Splatoon, Codename Steam, ect) will still be relevant but if I had to guess most if not all of these will have completely disappeared by next smash game.
