While Project M is inspired from Melee, even the PMDT admits that much, I don't really think calling it Project Melee/Melee 2.0 is all that accurate though as it still plays pretty differently from Melee in the grand scheme of things.

'Tis. That's why I changed it. All Tetris music is Russian, I just make the mistake of referring to Brawl's remix of Type B as Mariachi styled. Blame my ignorance for that.

The M stands for Mother obviously.
In version 4.0 the mod will gain sentience and yell at you to clean your room.

Alright. I've played very little of Project M and Melee, so I don't really have a good feel for either. Someday I wanna get Melee, not sure about PM though.

You're not the only one who made that mistake. Not many people know Tetris was made by a Russian, I think.

Tetris A is actually a Russian folk song.

Tetris B, however, was composed by Hirokazu Tanaka, a composer for several Nintendo games in their early days (who also is working in this game and worked in Brawl as well). The Brawl arrangement is Russian-styled, however. It does use similar instruments as Mexican music, mainly the guitar, hence the confusion people often make.
